National Theatre Festival 'Rangrezz' 2019 Starts at Chitkara University

Chandigarh 27^th September:- The National Theater Festival "Rangrej-2019" started today at the Punjab Campus at Rajpura, Chitkara University. 140 teams from 20 states across the country are participating in this Annual 2-Day National Theatre Festival. This year's theme for Rangrezz is 'Light to Unlighten'.

India's prominent theatre personalities, including Shinjini Kulkarni, Kathak Dancer & granddaughter of Kathak Maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj ji; Robin Das, Eminent Actor, Director & Professor, National School of Drama; Chintamani Biswal, Theatre Artist and Actor; Manoj Singh Tiger, Eminent Theatre Artist; Sandeep Bhardwaj, Film Actor & Theatre Artist; Anshuman Singh, Theatre & Film Artist; and Rajan Arora, Theatre Artist; were invited to adjudge the participants.

Addressing the audience after a traditional inaugural ceremony, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University; said that Chitkara University's National Theatre Festival - Rangrezz, aims to provide a national-level platform to the next generation of budding performers, to showcase their artistic abilities, while at the same time ensure artistic enrichment by cultivating a connect with our rich cultural heritage. Adding further she said that we believe complementing extracurricular activities with education, goes a long way in helping students develop a well-rounded personality.

With a complete focus on the next generation of budding theatre artists and directors, the National Theatre Festival – Rangrezz, will witness an impressive line-up of the multi-lingual plays in English, Hindi and Punjabi, marked by various trends in the Indian society. The performances by the teams left everyone in the audience speechless. Performance categories included, Stage Play (Proscenium), Street Play (Nukkad Natak), Fringe Theatre, Monologue, Stand Up Comedy; and a variety of fun events.

The attractions on the second day of Rangrej-2019 will be the special live performance by guest of honor Kathak dancer Shinjani Kulkarni, granddaughter of Pandit Birju Maharaj ji and Musical Star Nite of Punjabi singer and actor Ranjit Bawa.

Chandigarh 27^th September:- महामाई के प्रथम नवरात्र पर भक्तों की टोली की ओर से सेक्टर 28 डी में गुरुद्वारा नानकसर के पास रविवार 29 सितम्बर को 21वीं माता की विशाल चौकी का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस धार्मिक आयोजन में विख्यात सूफी गायक कँवर ग्रेवाल और बॉलीवुड सिंगर मास्टर सलीम माता के भजन से भक्तों को निहाल करेंगे।माता की चौंकी की शुरुआत "भक्तों की टोली" के सदस्यों द्वारा ज्योति प्रचंड के साथ होगी।  इसके बाद सूफी गायक कँवर ग्रेवाल और मास्टर सलीम माता के भजनों का गुणगान करेंगे।

इस बारे में और अधिक जानकारी देते हुए "भक्तों की टोली" के प्रधान बॉबी और लकी,जनरल सेक्रेटरी टीटू,वाईस प्रेजिडेंट अमित गोयल और हैप्पी चीमा,जॉइंट सेक्रेटरी मोंटू, बबला,  सोनू गोसाईं, अमित जस्वाल, आशु महाजन, राजेश कुमार, आशु कटियाल, विशाल कटियाल, गोलू और मोंटी नेबताया कि 29 सितम्बर को होने वाली 21वीं माता की विशाल चौकी के लिए महामाई कीज्योति वो माता मनसा देवीमंदिरसे लेकर आ रहे है।उनके अनुसार इस बार महामाई का दरबार न केवल भव्य होगा बल्कि दर्शनीय भी होगा।इसकेअलावा सेक्टर 27-28 लाइट पॉइंट से लेकर सेक्टर 28- इंडस्ट्रियल लाइट पॉइंट तक कि जा रही लाइटिंग भी बेहद ही आकर्षक होगी।महामाई के भजनोंसे सजी संध्या 06 बजे से शुरू होकर महामाई इच्छा तक चलेगी।अगले दिन सोमवार 30 सितम्बर को अटूट भंडारा चलेगा।

उन्होने बताया कि वे पिछले 20 वर्षो से माता की चौंकी का आयोजन करते है और ये उनका 21वा आयोजन है।महामाई के आशीर्वाद से ही सभी आयोजन सफल होते आये है।वो महामाई से कामना करेंगे कि महामाई सरबत का भला करेऔर उन्हें हिम्मत बक्शे कि वो सदैव ही माता की चौंकी का आयोजन करते रहे।उन्होंने बताया कि चौकी करवाने का उद्देशय युवाओं को धरम संस्कृति और अपने संस्कारों सेजोड़ना है।उन्होंने बताया कि जिस प्रकार आज का युवा नशे की ओर अग्रसर हो रहा है,उनका मकसद हैकी युवाओं को खेलों के प्रति प्रोत्साहित करें।

Godrej Appliances Sets the Benchmark for Industrial Safety in India

Chandigarh 27^th September:- Godrej Appliances, India's leading player in the home appliances segment, received the prestigious ‘National Safety Award’ for excellent performance in Industrial Safety,by the Government of India. Its Mohali factory was credited and applauded for a completely accident-free year with more than 10 lakh manhours of work.

Government of India, Ministry of Labor & Employment through DGFASLI, constituted this national level safety award to appreciate good safety performers from factories, construction sites & installations under Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB). The award was presented by Santosh Gangwar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour& Employment, Government of India at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi.

While receiving the award, Hussain Shariyarr, Operations Head and Senior Vice President – Godrej Appliances, shared that Godrej Appliances is known as a pioneer and innovator in the field of appliances. We have been thought leaders with respect to various facets of the business. At the heart of all of this, are our people. Receiving the National Safety Award from the Government of India only goes to show the emphasis and importance that Godrej gives to maintaining a world-class safety culture. He added that our manufacturing unit situated in Mohali has taken the people’s safety efforts to the next level, serving as a model for excellence in industrial safety. Education Beyond Classroom: Digital Push for Skill Development for Teachers in Colleges: Ulektz,Ties-Up with NITTTR Chandigarh

Coca-Cola Collaborates With Diesel to Design Capsule Collection Created from Recycled Materials

Chandigarh 27^th September:- This Autumn, two iconic brands, DIESEL and Coca-Cola, have joined forces to create The (Re)Collection; a beautifully crafted and edgy capsule collection partially made of recycled materials, available online, worldwide from 7th October 2019.

The range includes recycled materials such as recycled PET derived from plastic bottles and recycled cotton, to create a fresh, modern interpretation of the Diesel casualwear aesthetic combined with Coca-Cola iconicity. Creating beautiful fibres from plastic, this collaboration aims to raise awareness on the value of recycling with all pieces made with recycled PET fibres.

The collaboration will roll out worldwide from September 28, with a global first showcase of The (Re)Collection taking place at the renowned department store, Galeries Lafayette, in Paris. This event will unveil the collection and bring to life the unique recycling message during Paris Fashion Week as well as give Parisian style seekers the chance to dress in style with a collection incorporating recycled materials. कार सेवा के जरिये गांव बहलाना में छठ पूजा घाट साफ करवाया

Chandigarh 27^th September:- संघर्ष विकास सभा ट्राइसिटी, चण्डीगढ़ की तरफ से गांव बहलाना में छठ पूजा घाट को साफ करवाया गया क्योंकि घाट के अंदर बरसात का पानी भर गया था, जिससे गंदे पानी से कई बीमारियां की संभावना हो सकती थी। गांव बहलाना वासी इससे काफी परेशान थे। ऊपर से छठ पूजा का त्यौहार भी आने वाला है।

सभा के अध्यक्ष राजेश कुमार चौधरी और उनकी पूरी टीम ने जल्द से जल्द घाट से गंदगी निकालने का फैसला किया जिस पर नंदन मिश्रा, नवल ठाकुर, राजकुमार, अवधेश कुमार, राज कपूर ,राकेश कुमार चौधरी, राकेश कुमार, कन्हैया, दीपक, हर्षित झा, रिंकू, अमित कुमार ,रतन झा, केशव मिश्रा, रवि कांत झा, भरत कुमार चौधरी, लखन शर्मा, जितेंद्र पासवान, राम शर्मा, मनोज ठाकुर, इंद्रजीत शर्मा, सुमन झा, नरेश यादव, राजू साहू, गणेश यादव, सुरेंद्र, गोपाल, हेम नारायण झा, संजय सिंह, बाबूलाल चौधरी, शंकर साहू, बब्बन सिंह, दयानंद उपाधिया, पंचम चौहान,  नरेंद्र राय, राजू पासवान, मनोज सिंह, राज यादव, चंद्रशेखर श्रीवास्तव, श्रीहरि तिवारी, पहलाद यादव, आशुतोष मिश्रा इत्यादि ने मिलकर यहाँ कार सेवा की और घाट को गन्दगी से मुक्त किया।
