DLF Tops India’s Most Reputed Real Estate List:Godrej Properties and Lodha Follows

Chandigarh 27th September:- Gurgaon-based DLF ranked as India’s Most Reputed Real Estate brand in a study by Blue Bytes in association with TRA Research (both part of the Comniscient Group). Mumbai-based Godrej Properties trailed DLF at the second spot. Another Mumbai-based developer, Lodha Group, featured third, followed by Hiranandani Developers at the fourth place, which had a Brand Rep Score 14% lower than Lodha. Tata Housing ranked fifth with an 18% lowers Brand Rep Score. Bangalore-based Prestige Estates came in at sixth place and is the second non-Mumbai-based developer to make the list. A total of eight Real Estate developers from Mumbai featured among the top 10 in the Most Reputed Real Estate Brands list. K Raheja Corp. took the seventh spot,followed bythe 150-year-old Shapoorji Pallonji, which took the eighth spot. Oberoi Realty (ranked ninth) and India bulls Real Estate (ranked tenth) completed the top 10. A total of 57 Real Estate brands were listed in the India’s Most Reputed Real Estate Brands report, which saw 28 brands from Mumbai, 14 from Delhi, 10 from Bangalore, 3 from Pune, and 1 each from Chennai and Hyderabad.This Report is the third in the India’s Most Reputed Brands series, and Blue Bytes is set to launch a Report each month that covers different Sectors. The study evaluates Brand Reputation by analyzing media perception and consumer perception.
Pooja Kaura, Chief Spokesperson for India’s Most Reputed Brands said that rrealty in India is intimately connected to progress, to growth, to business success, and to the asset building of its populace. Though Real Estate investments in the coming years may not give the returns it has been giving for the last 2 decades, this can only be seen as a sign of the maturity of the Industry. He added that maintaining a good Reputation in this competitive Sector is a tough task, as the Industry is intricately connected to social status, finances, and foresightedness. Consequently, brands need to be certain about the risks they take, as it may just result in them losing their hard-earned and hard-fought Reputation.
India’s Most Reputed Real Estate Brands was a study conducted within the Real Estate Industry with Blue Bytes analyzing news of 57realty brands in all the major English and Hindi print media (newspapers and magazines) across 9 cities as a representative of the news across all media. A total of more than 27,000 articles related to different Real Estate brands were captured in the period between August 15, 2015, and August 15, 2016.In addition to news analysis, the consumers perception was also studied and this part of the analysis was contributed by TRA Research, which interviewed 2,500 consumer-influencers on the aspect of Respect.
