CII Chandigarh Fair Concludes:Hundreds Shop for Diwali Gifts

Chandigarh 24th October:- Hundreds from the region thronged the Parade Ground, Sector 17, venue of the 21st edition of CII Chandigarh Fair 2016 and made the best of attractive discounts on a variety of products on the last day of the fair today. The Fair concluded to an overwhelming response.  The Fair was organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the 21st year in a row, with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd as the Event Sponsor; Event Co- Sponsor-NABARD; Principal Sponsors- BSNL & Religare Finvest, Associate Sponsors- Orient Electric, State Bank of India, Associate Co-Sponsor- Chemical Resources- (Fenfuro); Contributors-Albasir Kashmir Arts, Hero Realty.
Visitors made the most of attractive discounts offered by a majority of stall owners on Diwali gift items, festive decorations, attractive lights, chandeliers, wall hangings, jewelry, clothes, food items, etc at the Fair.
Natasha Sethi, a resident of Ludhiana said that we look forward to the Fair every year for complete Diwali shopping. The advantage of finding so many options at one spot make CII Chandigarh fair irresistible. Right from buying a dress to wear on the biggest festival of the year to shopping for gifts for friends and family, the Fair gives umpteen options to choose from.  
For Aradhana Parashar, the CII Chandigarh Fair became a lifetime memory when her father Pawan Parashar, a resident of Sector 34, Chandigarh, bought her a Toyota Platinum Etios car on her birthday on Sunday at the Fair. The keys of the car was handed over to her by none other than the Regional Director of CII Northern Region, Babu Khan at a cake cutting ceremony in the presence of her family and loved ones. 
Several companies launched their products included Sleepwell which launched Digital Smart Mattresses, Godrej Interio introduced new Modular Kitchens, Vintage displayed traditional furniture, Tata Cyan showcased stylish wardrobes, Lady Bird Pots exhibited Terrariums with Bonsai, Devrishi Healthcare introduced heart-friendly Green Tea and Stevia which help in reducing obesity, maintain blood pressure and helps in balancing blood sugar level, at the Fair.
In the Mega Brands segment, IFB launched double chamber washing machines and fully-automatic Elena Steam Technology. In the Home Appliances section, Elica introduced first-of-its-kind water purifiers which use Hollow Fiber Technology. Crompton Greaves, Orient Electric displayed a new range of Professional Luminaries at Light and Latest designs and Technology of Juicer mixers, blenders. Bonn Foods, Top’s, Unibic Foods, Vegit, MTR foods, Gadre Marine came up with special gift packs for festival season. 
In the Acreage segment, Gupta Builders & Promoters, ATS, Shipra Estates, Janta Land Promoters and many other Builders showcased luxurious and eco-friendly homes on easy EMI options. In North India Auto Show, Maruti, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Mahindra, showcased their newly launched hybrid vehicles models at the auto exhibition.
Attractive gift packing for Diwali attracted many visitors to the various stalls at the Fair today. While Bonn Foods came out with gift packs of cakes, muffins, rusks, ranging between Rs 100 and 275, Mc Cain offered buy one get one free offers on all its popular snack items for Diwali. Top’s came up with attractive buying options for its famous pickles, ketchups, ready to cook food items etc for Diwali shoppers. Cremica also displayed attractive gift packing for its biscuits range for the Diwali in the range of Rs 120 to 175. 
Artistic calligraphy on name plates and key chains were another attraction for youngsters
For health conscious shoppers, Te-A-Me came out with special buy one get one offer on its green teas made of fruit and flower infusions at the Fair. The special green tea gift packs made a hot sell at the fair.
