Zee
Cinema the world’s largest movie theatre for Hindi movies is all set
to premiere director Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’ on Saturday, 8th October at 6:30 pm. An
adaptation of Charles
Dickens’ Great Expectations, the story is set
in mesmerizing valley of Kashmir. The filmstars Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif, Tabuin lead roles with an ensemble
cast including Rahul Bhatt, Aditi Rao
Hydari and Ajay Devgn in
special appearance.
Fitoor is a romantic drama, about
old time lovers, Noor and Firdaus,
whose longing and obsession transcends time and age. Speaking about Fitoor, the
profound actress Tabu said that Fitoor is a love story of two individuals, who
face difficulties in completing the circle of love. All the characters in the
film are strong and have their own background story. She is sure viewers of Zee
Cinema will enjoy this movie. She is looking forward to
the World Television Premiere as the reach of television is so huge.
In the mystic corners of a
valley, Noor (Aditya Roy Kapur)
grows up in the shelter of Begum (Tabu)
and is completely smitten by her daughter Firdaus (Katrina Kaif). On realizing
this, Begum sends Firdaus off to London and urges Noor to be successful in
order to win Firdaus. 15 years later, their paths cross and Noor, a successful
artist now, is still mesmerized by Firdaus. But, she is now destined to marry
Bilal (Rahul Bhatt) at
the whims of Begum.
