Chandigarh 19th March:- Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized its 18th Blood Donation Camp of Chandigarh zone at Sant Niranakri Satsang Bhawan, Sector 15-D, where a total of 364 donors, including 105 women donated blood. The devotees and sewadal volunteers of sector 15 and sector 40 areas contributed and assisted in the successful organization of the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General and Member of the Law Commission of India and Dr. B.S Cheema, Zonal Incharge Chandigarh zone. On this occasion, Satya Pal Jain said that Sant Nirankari Mission is the most organized and disciplined Mission world over. It has set an example in the field of social work and welfare with its selfless contribution and service to the society.
Dr. Dr. B.S Cheema mentioned that
this is the 18th blood donation camp being organized under Chandigarh
zone. He further said that these camps are devoted to the vision of Baba Hardev
Singh Ji Maharaj, where he emphasized that ‘blood should flow in veins and not
in drains’. The present Nirankari Satuguru, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji
Maharaj is also aiming at establishing peace, brotherhood and oneness in the
world. Her Holiness is making people aware of God-knowledge and bringing the
mankind closer to this knowledge and to each
other.
A team of paramedics and doctors
under Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Assistant Professor, Department of Transfusion Medicine,
Blood Bank PGI, Chandigarh assisted in the successful culmination of the blood
donation camp.
Present on the blood donation camp
and encouraging the donors were Zonal Incharge Dr. B.S Cheema, Dr. J.K Cheema Additional
Zonal Incharge, Khetriya Sanchalak Shri Atam Prakash, Sanyojak Mohinder Singh and
S.S. Banga Mukhi Sector 15 and Sector 40 areas.
Additional Sanyojak Tarsem Lal Ji,
expressed his gratitude to the team of doctors, and donors for their selfless
contribution to this noble cause.
