Chandigarh 09th June:- A special drive has been launched by the Chandigarh Police under “The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco
Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce,
Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (COTPA Act 2003). Drive has been
carried out by all police stations. During the special drive 128 persons were found
violating the provisions of COTPA Act and they were issued Challan. This drive
will be continued in future as well.
