By Tricitynews Reporter
Chandigarh 02nd June:- As the UPSC results for Civil Services 2016 were declared, Chanakya IAS Academy outshone once again with four of its candidates featuring in the top ten selections.
The candidates who have appeared in the all India top ten ranks are – Anmol Sher Singh Bedi (Rank 2), Saumya Pandey (Rank 4), Abhilash Mishra (Rank 5) and Kothamasu Dinesh Kumar (Rank 6). These sterling results illustrate the fine teaching standards of the Academy. It has garnered a total of 434 successful selections in the Civil Services examination this year. This includes representations from 26 states with 6 from Punjab and 2 from Himachal Pradesh.
AK Mishra, Founder & Chairman, Chanakya IAS Academy also fondly known as Success Guru, said that our institute also identifies talents across the country, which is deprived of success due to lack of financial support. Our aim is to recognize their potential, and make sure to eliminate any financial obstacles facing them.
Gurneet Chadha, Chandigarh Centre Head said that the results have been a shot in our arm. Buoyed by these we have announced many incentives for Class XII students, who want to chase their Civil Services dream. Not only will bright students who have just come out of Class XII be given concessions, we have made a plan under our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, to give special fee waivers to academically strong but economically weak students.
It is noteworthy that a Scholarship Test will be held on 4th June at 10 am for State Service Examinations at the Academy’s Sec 8, Chandigarh centre.
