PGGCG-11 Gets 6th Rank in India and 1st in Chandigarh and Bags 'Swachhta Award'

Chandigarh 14th September:- Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls (PGGCG) Sector 11 Chandigarh has been ranked 6th among all Govt. institutions of Higher Education in the country by the Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India under the Swachhta Ranking-2017. The Principal of the College Dr. Anita Kaushal received the award at the national level function organized by Ministry of Human Resource Development at New Delhi today. Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar gave away the awards.
3500 institutions participated in a tough competition across the country, out of which PGGCG Sector 11 Chandigarh has stood 6th at the All India level and 1st among all colleges of Chandigarh. Dr. Anita Kaushal thanked the UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore, Adviser to the Administrator Parimal Rai, and all officers of UT administration for lending infrastructural and financial support to the College. Earlier, the College was adjudged the best in Chandigarh by NAAC also.
Dr Anita Kaushal said that the distinguished academic faculty, brilliant students and non-teaching staff has made great efforts to score 6th rank at All-India level, which is a matter of great pride for the institution.
