October:- Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and
Technology, Sector-42D one of the leading institutes of Hotel Management
providing various courses for hospitality education, is celebrating Paryatan Parv
from 5th to 25th October, 2017.
The
Institute joyously celebrated 12th day of “Paryatan Parv” by organizing
an Inter College Collage Making Competition on the theme “Mera Desh Meri Shaan”,
with an objective to commemorate the pride of our national tourism amongst the students
of different colleges in the region.
A
total of 36 teams comprising of 72 students from various institutes
participated in the said contest. Participating teams prepared beautiful
collages based on different aspects of tourism using articles, handicrafts,
images and other accessories highlighting the cultural diversity, history,
monuments, food specialty, dance form , music , costume, and other tourism
phenomenon. There was a great zeal and enthusiasm when all the participants
expressed their views and thoughts on the theme by using their imagination and
creativity on a piece of white chart paper. The teams were encouraged to
express their ideas and expressions on the topic in best possible way. The creative
collages prepared by the students made it really hard for the eminent panel of
judges to decide the winner. The winners were awarded with certificates and
trophies.

Sector 36, Chandigarh, declared second and

Goel and Pankaj of AIHM Chandigarh declared Third in the competition.
