Disha & Innovaction Event & Tagore Vanasthali School organizes Junior Super Model-2017

Chandigarh 15^th October:- The Grand Finale of kids club by Disha & Innovaction Event’s Junior Super Model in association with Tagore Vanasthali School kasauli, a Pageant for Kids’ was held at Press Club, sector 27 Chandigarh. This was the Fourth edition of Junior Super Model.  Kids in two age brackets 3-7 years, 8-14 years took part in it. The Chief Guest at the event was Mr. Aakshdeep watta, Director of Tagore group of Schools in Haryana, Punjab & Himachal.
The judges’ panel included Raaj Rahhi - Producer / Director, Based in New York, Raaj Rahhi is an innovative film, television, events media director and producer with more than twenty years of experience in global world cinema including the Bollywood entertainment industry. As a filmmaker and consultant, Raaj has collaborated with companies such as Jackie Chen Production House, Zee Network, Star International Network, Time Warner-Pictures House and HBO. Raaj promotes worldwide talent through the Society for Development of Films and Arts (SODEFA) and is a member of the International Producers and New York Fashion Week. He is also an executive member of the International Documentary Association and a South Asia Regional Partner with International Grammy Awards. Raaj has diversified experiences in producing TV shows and commercials for worldwide television networks.

Balkar singh, presently working as Director, Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. He is in the field of theatre, films & television since more than forty years. Movies : Mere Dad Ki Maruti., Tanu Weds Manu., Forthcoming : Desi Magic, Aayee Balaa Ko Taal Tu Represented India as Director, Folk Dancer & Choreographer to Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Czech Republic, as an actor to USA, Canada, U K, France, South Korea. Retired as Assistant Director from Language Department, Punjab.

Karan brar a renowned Director & Cinematographer He has done theatre for 10 years (1991 to 2000) as an actor and director Lately he is working as a video director in Punjabi music industry and from March 2017 he is working as a free Lancer cinematographer as well and doing some big projects in Bollywood and pollywood etc. he has done more than one thousand music videos. He has worked with so many known singers like Honey Singh, Raftaar, Raj Brar, Rimz J, Saarthi K, Nachhattar Gill, Nishawn Bhullar, Master Saleem, Sabar koti, Rai Jujhar and more. Nowadays he is working on his film project Mr.Daksh who is famous singer, composer & writer was the special guest. Gave their verdict and announced the Junior Super Model 2017. 

Thirty Five (35) savvy kids showcased their skills in a Kids’ Pageant with a difference. The children got to learn a lot about Indian Culture as they walked the ramp wearing traditional Indian attires in the ‘Indian Round’. This was followed by the ‘Innovative Round’ in which participating children had to drive home the message of; ’Save the EARTH Diwali special' No to crackers, keep your city clean, help poor people on this Diwali, save girl child , Swach Bharat Abhiyaan. the kids dressed up like trees, made creative placards against climate change etc. and presented themselves very interestingly. The best dress was chosen by the judges in this round.  This was followed by a Question & Answer Round. The combined points of all three rounds decided the winners.

The event tested the creativity of the children who were helped by parents to design dresses, accessories and props to give a message of ’Save the EARTH Diwali special' No to crackers, keep your city clean, help poor people on this Diwali, Save Girl Child , Swach Bharat Abhiyaan. A sterling dance performance was also given by children of Tagore Vanasthali School Kasauli kids on Women empowerment.
