Development Authority (SUDA) through the Department of Urban Local Bodies,
Haryana. This will cover 80 Municipal Corporation, municipal councils and
municipal committee areas from 16 districts, viz., Faridabd, Gurgaon, Palwal,

Harish Kumar Sharma, Chief Business Officer
of REPL said that this project brings a lot of responsibility on
us for devising befitting solutions for the street vendors in large part of
Haryana. The scale is really huge and it will entail massive survey for proper
identification and mapping. Our prior experience in preparing street vending
plans for Jhansi (UP) and Bhatinda (Punjab) will come quite handy to us. We are
extremely happy to become part of this important drive by the Haryana
government. Street vendors constitute an
important segment of unorganized sector in the country, especially the urban
areas.
