NBA Launch ‘Swag Ka Khel’ Campaign

Chandigarh 26th April:- The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sony Pictures Networks(SPN) launched the ‘Swag Ka Khel’campaign, aimed specifically for the Hindi-speaking audience in the country.  The campaign, when translated, means ‘the sport with swag’, aims to reach out to and engage the audience who has Hindi as their primary language. 
The 360-degree marketing campaign will be rolled out across 14 cities on television, radio, online and outdoor fan engagements. The on-ground activation in Chandigarh will run on Saturday, 28thApril and Sunday, 29thApril 2018 at Elante Mall.  The interactive zone is focused on growing and eliciting participation in basketball wherein participants enter an NBA arena can dunk and shoot a hoop and win exciting prizes including NBA jerseys. To captivate the audience, Ryan Robinson, a talented basketball trickster will also be performing some freestyle basketball moves.
This campaign will further amplify the opportunity of widening the popularity of the league in Tier-II markets. A result of increasing engagement levels recorded of the Hindi in-game commentary, launched during the playoffs NBA 2016-17season, ‘Swag Ka Khel’ will comprise an on-ground experiential zone at prime locations to provide a peek into the world of NBA.  
The NBA games with Hindi commentary airs every weekend on SONY TEN 3 and SONY TEN 3 HD channels. The network will continue to broadcast daily and weekly NBA studio shows and integrate highlights as well as daily content from NBA TV, including team previews and recap shows.  The daily 30-minute highlight programs will be broadcast during primetime, every day of the season.  The weekly studio show – NBA WEEKLY, hosted by a local anchor, will recap all the happenings around the NBA during the past week.  The NBA and sports cluster of SPN will also continue the customized, local live NBA wraparound show NBA AROUND THE HOOP every weekend throughout the season to bring viewers closer to the game.  The program will be hosted by a panel of basketball experts that will provide analysis and insights on all the latest NBA news.
