05th July:- Today's young generation is so focused on earning money
that they ignore their old parents. Moving from small towns to big cities is
not a new thing but today's generation is trying more and more to settle in
abroad. In this race they ignore the wishes and desires of their parents and
leave them to spend their life on their own. There are numerous cases where
old-aged people are living with their servants and are waiting to see the faces
of their children. One short film-Lutro- presenting this scenario is brought to
you by Folk Film Studio and Saabi Sanj.
To promote this short film, the entire film team organised a
press conference at Press Club Chandigarh. On this occasion the main lead
actresses of the movie Teji Sandhu and Prabhjot Randhawa along with producer
Shamsher Koura and Harman Gill, and director Bhagwant Kang were present. The
story of the movie is written by Jitender Hans.
Speaking
about the movie Teji Sandhu said that through this movie we want to give a
message to the people that only money does not matter in life, along with money
we should take care of our parents and should try to fulfil their wishes and
should also spend time with them. The entire movie is focused on two
characters. The actual meaning of the word Lutro is one who speaks a lot. The
film is focused on Sardarni and her maid.
Prabhjot
Randhawa said that she is portraying the role of a maid in this movie who bears
the taunts of her Mistress but still cares for her and guides her about right
and wrong and also tell her about her family. Bhagwant Kang told that through
this short film he wants to show the society the loneliness of old-aged people
and its cause. The movie has released on YouTube on 4th July.
