LIC organizes Health Check up Camp for School Students

Chandigarh 04th September:- As part of various activities being undertaken by Chandigarh Division on the occasion of LIC’s 62nd Anniversary & Insurance Week Celebrations, towards its social initiatives a health check up camp was organized at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 10, Chandigarh.  
Rajat Mukherjee, Sr. Divisional Manager along with K.S. Johar, Marketing Manager inaugurated the camp at the school premises  in the presence of Principal, Harbir Singh Anand, Anil Jain, Manager(NB) and officials of LIC Divisional Office and teachers of the School.
Raj Bala Malik, Ex Mayor, Chandigarh, Renu Bala, Director Social Welfare Deptt., Chandigarh Administration, Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Area Counselor  and Geeta Devi, Chairperson, Zila Parishad, Chandigarh Administration  dignitaries also grace the occasion and bless the children.
Approximately 150 children from Primary Classes 1st and 2nd  were examined by Dr. Vinod Arora, General Physician, Dr. Ankit Negi and Dr.Ritu Sharma, Dentists for general ailments and problems related to dental care among small children.  Children were advised care for prevention of cavities and given medicines, where required.  All the students were given water bottle as mementoes to motivate them.  School Principal thanked LIC for their noble gesture and healthy initiative.
Tree plantation was also carried out extensively at premises of the same school, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
Rajat Mukherjee, Sr. Divisional Manager, K. S. Johar, Marketing Manager along with special team constituted for this special drive to Save Environment i.e. Chanchal Bisht, Vijay Laxmi, P.K.Dhimija, Anil Kumar  and other officials from Divisional Office, planted various kinds of saplings in the open ground of the school.  On this occasion, Principal of the School Sh. Harbir Singh Anand  and other teachers also planted many saplings along with their full team of teachers and students.
Rajat Mukherjee, Sr. Divisional Manager thanked the management of the school for their co-operation and providing necessary infrastructure for the special drive. In the last light refreshment was served to all participating officials by the school.
