09th October:- Tricity's
leading shopping, food, entertainment & social hub, VR Punjab turned one
& to mark this occasion, the Centre hosted a range of
activities, which included a with a Mega lucky draw for its shoppers. The first
anniversary prize was a brand new Renault Kwid.
Jermina
Menon, Vice President Marketing, Virtuous Retail, said that we have always
aspired to make shopping and a visit to the centre a fun, enjoyable &
rewarding experience for our patrons. For our first anniversary we wanted to
give our shoppers an experience like no other with the promise of winning a
car. Our anniversary celebration events were thoroughly enjoyable for our
shoppers. We would like to thank our shoppers for celebrating with us and look
forward to bigger celebrations as the year’s go by.
The
much awaited mega lucky draw was held in an environment charged up with
excitement. Luck finally showered on
65-year-old Khushwinder
Kaur from Ropar , who won the grand prize, a brand new Renault Kwid.
Elated
Khushwinder Kaur said that VR Punjab is our
family’s favourite destination. Winning this car here has made it even more
special for us. We had shopped for just Rs 6,000 and registered for the lucky
draw. It is truly a dream come true for her family and her.
The
Anniversary celebrations included many interesting activities, a food festival,
a comedy night and an open mic session where aspirants tried their hand at
being a stand up comedians among other events. Not just this, street
performances which included - Jugglers , mono cyclists, Stilt walkers etc
also entertained the crowd. Punjab's rich culture was showcased through holding
of evenings, showcasing display of dance forms like 'Bhangra' and
'Giddha'.
