Mercedes-Benz India Launches The Iconic Performance Off-Roader-AMG G 63

New Delhi 05th October:- India’s largest luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz today further bolstered its performance SUV portfolio, with the launch of the iconic performance off-roader the new Mercedes-AMG G 63. With the launch of the new AMG G 63, the G-Class from Mercedes-Benz undergoes the biggest change in its history. The G 63 is the original among the performance off-roaders and is the yardstick for all competitors and this is true for the new generation as well. The new AMG G 63 can do everything better than the preceding models, while retaining its core virtues.
Powered by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine that generates an astonishing 430 kW (585 hp) of power, helps it attain 100 km/h from standstill in a mere 4.5 seconds. The new AMG G 63 underpins its unique position among performance off-road vehicles with the powerful drive system, the newly developed AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, the AMG-specific transmission modes and a torsionally rigid bodyshell mounted on a strong ladder-type chassis. The new AMG G 63 was launched today by Michael Jopp, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.
Michael Jopp, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India said that around the world, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is acknowledged as the benchmark amongst luxury off-road vehicles. He added that today, we offer fans of the AMG brand as well as customers in India the latest iteration of this cult luxury off-roader, the Mercedes-AMG G 63. The AMG G 63 has now reached a completely new dimension in terms of technology with the 4.0litre V8 biturbo engine, combined with its off-road characteristics, its agility and vehicle dynamics. The extreme rock-climbing abilities combined with sports car performance, class leading styling and a high-tech cabin makes the new Mercedes-AMG G 63 yet another legend in the making.
He further added that Mercedes-Benz continues its product offensive and the new AMG G 63 is the tenth product we have launched for the Indian market in 2018.
