Chandigarh 12th November:- Youth
Club of the Nari Jagriti Manch (Reg.), organized various entertainment programs
for children in the adjoining area of Hanumant Dham Temple, Sector 40, on the
occasion of Children's Day.
Dr Aarti Verma, senior physician, as the
chief guest, while the social worker Nisha Sharma and Neena Sood and Naresh
Garg were present as special guests. The event was held under the chairmanship
of the Manch President Neena Tiwari.
About 200 participants from the age group 5
years to 15 years participated. Interesting and entertaining events
organized among children included Jalebi games, Straw and Pin with Twist Games,
Blind Fold, Marble Collection, Musical Chair with Twist etc. Apart from this, Selfie
Point was the center of special attraction for the children, in which the
children also took pictures with a breathtaking view.
On this occasion, Alka Joshi, a prominent
member of the manch said that in this era of the Internet, children have
forgotten fun games. The Youth Club of the forum has been
working towards inculcating values in children aimed at making them a
responsible citizen of the society so that they can be able to perform
something different and better in society. She said that if children take part
in any competition, then they develop a positive attitude. The main objective
of this event is to see the right path for the children, which will continue in
future also.
On this occasion, Neena Tiwari, said that
the Youth Club of the Forum always encourages children to move forward and more
such activities are planned.
