Chandigarh 27th September:- Navratri, the auspicious nine-day
festival, is being observed all over India. People observe fasts as a form of
devotion to the almighty. Navratri Puja also entails simplicity in one’s diet.
Devotees eat only vegetarian food with no onions or garlic. In essence, the
festival also represents the importance Hindu culture lays on detoxification of

to 6th October 2019.
On offer in the special Navratra menu
are a wide range of falahari delicacies. These include special and
deluxe falahari thalis, special falahari combos, a variety of chaats, desserts
and snacks, and its trademark sweets. The falahari thali will include subzi,
falahari puri, achar and sweets. The falahari paneer tikka and kebab platters
are tandoori favourites.
Besides a wide array of falahari
chaats, the menu offers many options in falahari snacks, including sabudana
pakora, aloo bonda, paneer pakora and badam cutlet. Special sweets include
falahar jalebi, makhane ki kheer, gulab jamun, Bengali sweets and dry fruit
sweets and mixed fresh fruit platters, among many others.
