BML Munjal University Holds Its 4th Convocation

Chandigarh 02nd September:- During 4th convocation of Hero Group’s not-for-profit university, BML Munjal University (BMU), Gurgaon today, 438 students from university’s School of Management, School of Engineering and Technology and School of Economics and Commerce were conferred with degrees on successful completion of MBA, BBA, B.Com. (H) and B. Tech programmes. In addition, 3 students were awarded Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal Medal for being the Best Outgoing Student and 8 students were awarded Academic Excellence Medal.
The graduating students are successfully placed in the companies including Tata Consultancy Services, Grant Thornton, Hero MotoCorp, KPMG and others.
Dr Jyotsna Suri, chairperson & MD of Bharat Hotels Limited was the chief guest during occasion whereas His Excellency, George Goh Ching Wah, chairman-The Border Mission, Singapore , Ambassador to Morocco and an entrepreneur for 37-yr was Guest of Honour. Shri George was conferred upon Doctorate Degrees Honoris Causa.
In her message, Dr Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & Managing Director, Bharat Hotels Limited said that BMU is one of the finest private universities of the country, not only because of the excellent students, but also due to the exemplary pool of faculty, globally competitive curriculum pedagogy and excellent achievements of the alumni.
Sunil Kant Munjal, Chancellor, BML Munjal University said that we at BMU are conscious that education is much more than merely awarding degrees so since its inception our core focus is to nurture leaders who are transformed into well-rounded, industry-ready individuals from day one of graduating from the university.
BML Munjal University has set up an innovative teaching, learning and research environment in India. The state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops on campus are not only helping educate students to find real-life solutions for societal problems, but also encourage the top-notch researchers of the nation and abroad to come and practice at BMU.
