2020:- Sushma Group, major realty player of Punjab celebrated
India's 71st Republic day on 25th January with fervour and lot of enthusiasm in
Zirakpur. After the overwhelming response of the past two seasons of
celebration, this year the group saluted to the republic of India with third
season of its mega kite flying event that took place at Sushma Empiria located
on PR-7, Airport Ring Road in Zirakpur.
The event was organised to revive the patriotic feelings and
to promote the country's cultural diversity. The whole premise was caught up in
the spirit of patriotism with tricolor decoration and patriotic songs playing.
The day was commemorated by flying tri-coloured kites of different shapes and
sizes which soon filled the whole sky with beautiful saffron, white and green
colours, the colours reflecting unity, strength and lively culture of India.
Around 300 people from across Tricity became the part of this grand kite flying
event.
Speaking on the occasion, Prateek Mittal, Executive Director
of Sushma Group said that we are delighted to celebrate India’s 71st Republic
Day. This is the most important day in the history of the nation which
represents the true spirit of independent India and with the third edition of
Zirakpur flying high we salute to the republic of India. With India's
constitution coming in force, it's the day when India's transition to becoming
an Independent republic was completed.
He further added that the principles of Republic India are
justice, liberty, equality and fraternity and this festival is celebrated
collectively by the people throughout the nation. The rich culture of India
shows its unity in diversity and we at Sushma Group abide by the principles and
adopt the true values of Indian culture and celebrate every occasion in unison.
