2021:- Three candidates of the
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) filed their nominations as part of the ongoing
nomination process for the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections. Former
Unit President Sanjay Tandon, General Secretary Rambir Bhatti and Vice
President Asha Jaiswal also boosted the morale of the candidates by
accompanying them. BJP President Arun Sood boosted the morale of the candidates
and conveyed wishes.
Mayor Ravikant Sharma from ward no 17
after offering prayers at the SD temple, Sector 22, went to the SDM
office, Sector 42 and filed his nomination. 37 year old Anup Gupta from Ward
No. 11 filed his nomination at Chandigarh College of Engineering, Sector
26. Ward No. 3 candidate and Bapu Dham Colony resident Dalip Sharma also
filed his nomination along with his supporters at Sector-17.
