Chandigarh 02^nd May:- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ  ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ, ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਘਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸਤਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਏ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੈੱਡ ਕਰਾਸ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਭਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।  ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਵਲ 10 ਰੁਪਏ  ਦਾ ਵਧੀਆ ਸਾਫ ਸੂਥਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਈਜੈਨਿਕ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਪਰਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਲਕੇ 3 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਾ ਟਰਾਇਲ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ 250 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਖਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਪੈਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਬੋਤਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਪਰਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 05 ਅਤੇ 06 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੂਡੀਸਅਲ ਕੋਰਟ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਸੈਕਟਰ 76 ਵਿਖੇ 300 ਪੈਕੇਟ ਰੋਜਾਨਾ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ  12:30  ਤੋਂ 02:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਵੰਡੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰੰਤ 08 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਗੂਲਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਫੇਜ਼-06 ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਦੇ ਬੱਸ ਸਟਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜਾਨਾ 2 ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਰਾਂਹੀ 500-500 ਪੈਕੇਟ ਵੰਡੇ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਪੈਕੇਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।  ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸਸਤੇ ਰੇਟ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੇਬ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਖਾਣਾ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਹੋ ਸਕੇਗਾ। 

ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਪਰਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੁੰਗਾਰਾ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਸਾਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ  ਸਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਬ-ਡਵੀਜਨ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਜੂਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਚਾਇਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਰਸੋਈਆਂ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਪਿਤਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ  ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਪਰਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ  ਸਸਤਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਦਾ ਮੁਲੰਕਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਅਕਸਿਆਪਾਤਰਾ ਐਨ.ਜੀ.ਓ. ਵੀ ਇਸ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੀ ਬਿਹਤਰੀ ਲਈ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।

Chandigarh 02^nd May:- बहुत कर्म कर लेना जीवन की सार्थक ता नही है क्योंकि बहुत कर्म करने के बाद भी जब तक तत्वज्ञान नही होता तब तक जन्म-मरण चलता ही रहेगा इसलिये जीवन का परम् लक्ष्य उस परम् तत्व को जानना है क्योंकि उस परम तत्व को न जाने बिना जन्म मरण की यात्रा समाप्त नही होगी। यह प्रवचन सेक्टर 37 सी स्थित भगवान परशुराम भवन में आयोजित श्रीमद्भागवत कथा ज्ञान महायज्ञ के दौरान कथा व्यास आचार्य कैलाश प्रसाद जी ने श्रद्धालुओं को दिया।

कथा व्यास आचार्य कैलाश प्रसाद जी ने श्रद्धालुओं को श्री वेद व्यास जी और महाऋषि नारद जी के संवाद को सुनाया जिसमें महाऋषि नारद जी ने श्री वेद व्यास जी को भगवान की लीलाओं के वर्णनों का गुणानुवाद करने का संकेत किया जिससे की श्री वेद व्यास जी के द्वारा श्रीमद् भागवत महापुराण की रचना हुई। जिसमें कि 18 हजार श्लोक 335 अध्याय तथा 12 स्कन्द हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जिस समय समीक ऋषि के पुत्र के द्वारा संम्राट परीक्षित को सप्तम् दिवस मरने का श्राप मिला तो उसी समय श्रीमद् भागवत महापुराण पावन परम् हंसों की संहिता का श्री परीक्षित को श्रीसुकदेव भगवान ने रसपान करवाया। जिससे उन्हें मृत्यु का भय समाप्त हो गया। कथा व्यास आचार्य कैलाश ने बताया कि श्रीमद् भागवत महापुराण का श्रवण मनुष्य को जन्म मरण के बंधन से मुक्ति दिलवा देता है। 

इस दौरान कथा व्यास द्वारा सुंदर भजन राधे राधे जपा करों कृष्ण नाम रस पिया करों.. .. .. आदि जैसे कई सुंदर भजन भी गाये जिस पर श्रद्धालु मंत्रमुग्ध हो झूम उठे। 

बह्मचारी स्वामी निज्यानंद  जी महाराज 3 मई शहर में: भगवान परशुराम भवन स्थित मंदिर के पुजारी पं देवी प्रसाद पैन्यूली ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि मध्यप्रदेश से आये जगत्गुरू शंकराचार्य के परम् शिष्य बह्मचारी स्वामी निज्यानंद  जी महाराज 3 मई को कथा स्थल में अपने अमुल्य प्रवचन उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को देगें। 

Ludhiana Beverages Pvt Ltd Commissions 100 KW Solar Power Plant: To Further Reduce Manufacturing Carbon Footprints

Ludhiana 02^nd May:- Reaffirming its commitment towards environmental protection and sustainable manufacturing,-Ludhiana Beverages Private Limited, an authorized franchise bottler of The Coca-Cola Company in India today announced the commissioning of a 100 KW Solar Power Plant. The plant with an annual power generation capability of 1, 32,000 KW will further reduce its the carbon footprint by over 2 percent.

Setting up a solar power plant demonstrates company’s long term commitment of improving energy efficiency in its manufacturing processes. It also supports Coca-Cola System’s goal to improve the environmental performance by reducing CO2 emissions across its value chain.

On the occasion, Kailash Kumar Goenka, Managing Director, Ludhiana Beverages Private Limited, said that India has an immense potential for power generation from renewable energy sources, particularly solar. We wanted to leverage this at our manufacturing location and make it as energy self-reliant as possible. It is of a great satisfaction to us to add a new alternative energy platform at our manufacturing plant which will help us to further drive sustainable manufacturing. Through this initiative we aim to reduce our CO2 emissions by 105.6 Ton.

Shubha Sekhar, Director and Head CSR & Sustainability, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia, said that we, at Coca-Cola India are working to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions across our entire value chain by making comprehensive changes in our manufacturing processes. By using best-in-class technology and upgradation of infrastructure we have been able to reduce our Energy Use Ratio (EUR) – amount of energy used for producing a liter of beverage, by 18% between 2012 and 2015. Commissioning of solar power plant at Ludhiana Beverages is a testament to our commitment of growing our business in India without increasing greenhouse gas emission.

The Coca-Cola System and its bottling partners are working towards a vision of reducing the carbon footprint by 25 percent by 2020 across its entire value chain of manufacturing, packaging, distribution and sourcing.

Sood Sabha Chandigarh organizes Blood Donation Camp: 152 Units of Blood Collected

Chandigarh 02^nd May:- A Blood Donation Camp was organized by Sood Sabha Chandigarh in association with Indian Dental Association Mohali Branch at Sood Bhawan , Sector 44-A, Chandigarh on Sunday 30th April 2017. The camp was supervised by the team of doctors from GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh. 152 units of blood were collected during the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by former President of Sood Sabha Chandigarh Brij Krishan Sood . According to Shashi B.Sud , General Secretary Sood Sabha Chandigarh the Sabha organizes Blood Donation Camp every year and this was the 6th Blood Donation Camp. In routine also various types of social activities such as Free Medical Camp, Free Eye Checkup Camp, and Free Heart Checkup Camps etc are arranged by Sood Sabha Chandigarh for the benefit of general public.

The camp was a great success and the efforts of Sood Biradari & Indian Dental Association was appreciated by on and all.
