New Team of Interact Club of Sri Aurobindo School Installed

Chandigarh 27^th July:- A new team of Interact Club of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education was installed here today by its sponsoring Rotary Club of Chandigarh’s president Rtn Surinder Paul Kaur.

Vani Adalakha took over the reins from her predecessor Jagriti Singh.  The new team includes Nakul Bisht, Vice President, Eshmeet Singh Secretary, Raj Pratap Singh, Joint Secretary, Bhuvi as Treasurer, Anshika as Sergeant at Arms, along with Directors Nikita Saini,  Muskan, Bhumika, Verisha Tagra, and Veronica Tagra.

Rtn Pres Surinder Paul Kaur motivated the young Interactors to work for the betterment of society with the virtue of leadership, forbearance and benevolence.

Former world president of Rotary International Rtn Rajendra K. Saboo complimented the school management for preserving the Indian cultural values amongst students and preparing them as socially conscious citizens.

Earlier the trees were planted in the school premises under the supervision of Prof. Rajnish Wattas of Tree Loving Society.

School Chairman Arvind Mehan applauded the efforts made by the students and encouraged them to develop their personalities through participation in projects for the good of the society, and by remaining conscious of the world around them.

School Principal Garima Bhardwaj informed that the School is celebrating next month for inter-school competitions like shloka recitals, Spell-Bee competition, Auro Music Jam and shall also be participating in TB-free Chandigarh project initiated by Rotary Club of Chandigarh.

Chandigarh 27^th July:- हरी सिमरन सेवा समिति सेक्टर 46 चंडीगढ़ और सनातन धर्म मंदिर सेक्टर 46 चंडीगढ़ के सौजन्य से रुबी गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में सात दिवसीय श्रीमद् भागवत कथा ज्ञान यज्ञ का शुभारंभ आज कलश यात्रा निकालकर विधिपूर्वक प्रारंभ किया गया।

कथा व्यास विवेक जोशी जी वृंदावन वाले के मुखारविंद से श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर भगवान की विभिन्न लीलाओं का आनंद प्रदान किया। उन्होंने भक्तों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा श्रीमद् भागवत कथा जीव को इस दवा नल रूपी संसार से शीतलता प्रदान करती ही है बल्कि इस कथा का श्रद्धा पूर्वक मनन करने से 8400000  लाख जन्मों से मुक्ति प्रदान होकर भगवान के चरणों में भगवान की सेवा का उनके परमधाम में प्राप्ति होती है। भगवान की परमधाम में सिर्फ आनंद ही आनंद है ना कोई ईर्ष्या है ना कोई दुख है ना ना कोई जन्म है ना कोई मरा नहीं है।

सौभाग्यशाली जीव इस मुखी का फायदा उठाते हैं और विधि पूर्वक श्रद्धा पूर्वक श्रीमद् भागवत कथा का मनन करते हैं।

कार्यक्रम की उपाध्यक्ष पूनम ने बताया कि प्रतिदिन 3:00 बजे से लेकर 7:00 बजे तक श्रीमद् भागवत कथा का प्रवचन होगा एवं 2 अगस्त को हवन यज्ञ के पश्चात विशाल भंडारा का आयोजन किया जाएगा। आज के कार्यक्रम में आज के कार्यक्रम में विशेष रुप से रामप्रसाद जी, धीरज दास जी,  श्रीमती कांति देवी जी इसके अतिरिक्त स्थानीय लोगों ने पर चढ़कर उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया।

कलश यात्रा में महिलाओं में अपने सिर के ऊपर जल्द कलश रखकर 2 किलोमीटर तक की पैदल यात्रा की एवं तत्पश्चात कथा का आयोजन प्रारंभ हुआ।

Administrator Flags off 31 HVAC Long Route Buses

Chandigarh 26^th July:- The Governor of Punjab & Administrator,V.P.Singh Badnore in the presence of Adviser to Administrator Manoj Parida, flagged off 31 HVAC long route buses at ISBT, Sector 17, Chandigarh . These 31 HVAC buses will ply on long routes to Shimla, Manali, Dehradoon, Amritsar, Hissar, Haridwar, Delhi, Hansi, Harmirpur, Jawala Ji, Baijnath.

These buses are having latest technology electronically controlled Diesel Engines. All buses are equipped with cameras, LED Destination boards, and GPS Devices for tracking of buses in real time. Each row of seat is equipped with reading lights, mobile charging points, A.C. Louvers etc. The total cost of each HVAC bus is Rs.50.00 Lac and total of 40 HVAC buses is Rs.20.00 crores and the fare of HVAC bus is approximately 44% lesser than Super Luxury bus.

For the first time, the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has introduced the panic button in these 31 HVAC long route buses to ensure the security of women passengers. Once a passenger presses the alert button, the Transport Department and the Police Control Room will be alerted and a message will be sent to control room, mentioning the bus registration number and its location.  

Chandigarh Transport Undertaking is operating 128 Inter-State buses on 51 routes in adjoining States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Uttar Pradesh and National Capitol Delhi. The department aims to replace old fleet of ordinary buses with 120 HVAC buses in three lots. The First lot of 40 HVAC buses has been ordered wherein  37 HVAC buses are already operating on routes. In the 2nd lot of 40 HVAC buses, 31 buses have been flagged off.

Significant changes to US EB5 Program Approaching

Chandigarh 26^th July:- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is making a number of significant changes to its EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, marking the first significant revision of the program’s regulations since its establishment in the year 1993.

New developments under the final rule, which will become effective on Nov. 21, 2019, include a significant increase in the minimum required investment amount to a whopping US$900,000 from US$500,000 for TEA investments and $1 million to $1.8 million for non-TEA investments, revising the standards for certain targeted employment area (TEA) designations, giving the agency responsibility for directly managing TEA designations, clarifying USCIS procedures for the removal of conditions on permanent residence, and allowing EB-5 petitioners to retain their priority date under certain circumstances.

The EB-5 visa program - one of the fast-track options to get U.S. Green Card and permanent residency through investment enables foreigners who make a significant investment in an approved real-estate project to obtain a green card and become lawful permanent residents, which allow them the right to permanently live and work in the United States with their spouse and dependents (under the age of 21).

Under current rules, foreign investors are typically required to make either a US$500,000 or $1 million capital investment amount into a U.S. commercial enterprise and must create at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs for two years.

All the applicants who are considering investing under current EB-5 regulations need to lodge their application at least 2 months prior to the implementation of new rule, i.e.  Nov. 21, 2019, which means they have only 45-60 DAYS to invest and file their case with minimum investment of $ 500,000.

Origin Art Fair-19: An Art Exhibition Showcasing Works of 12 Artists Starts

Mohali 26^th July:- Painters den Artworks, in collaboration with BHS Group has put up an exhibition- Origin Art Fair 2019, showcasing nearly 100 works of 12 artists from India and abroad at Bestech Square Mall here. The exhibition will remain open for art enthusiasts till July 29(Monday). The inaugural event witnessed the presence of a former Mrs. India 2018 and an artist-Sanjana Sharma. Sanjana is also the Founder of Painters den Art Works. Bhupinder Singh Nanda, an eminent artist & a Guru Dronacharya award winner, Gurdeep Dhiman, an international photographer and Gurdeep Sharma, an international painting artist also participated in the event held, to officially inaugurate Origin Art Fair 2019. Vikram Bawa, State Spokesperson, BJYM Chandigarh, was a special guest.

Sanjana Sharma, Founder, Paintersden Art Works, said that international and well known artists from India are displaying myriad art forms like paintings and digital art at Origin Art Fair 2019. Apart from the showcase of art works the fair will also present a platform for workshops and a painting competition. A lecture will be given by artist Gurdeep Sharma on 27th and on 28th July a demonstration is slated by artist Ashish Deshmukh.

It is noteworthy that, Sanjana, who is a winner of many beauty pageants, left a promising career in banking to follow her passion – promotion of art. Sanjana is herself a gold medalist in the field of art.

The other artists who are displaying their works include Sanjana Sharma -the Founder  of Paintersden Art Works, Yuvraj Bajaj, Vinita Chaudhary from Faridabad, Gurdip Sharma, Yatin Marwah from Delhi, Reena Shirodkar from Goa, Aarti Mehta from Delhi, Sunita Handoo from Panchkula, Simple Chhabra from Amritsar, and Abhishek Shrivastava from UP.  

Sanjana Sharma said that we are also organizing a painting completion on Sunday July 28 from 11 am till 1 pm which is open to all. We would like to have maximum participation in this.

Mahindra Bolero Gets Future Ready with Safety & Emission Upgrades

Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama: Why Did Krishnadevaraya Imprison Rama

Chandigarh 26^th July:- Sony SAB’s historical entertainer Tenali Rama never fails to woo the audiences with its gripping story, fun-filled humor and interesting characters. In the upcoming episodes, the witty duo, Rama and Mulla Nasiruddin are plotting different ways to find solutions to the strange demands made by Krishnadevaraya (Manav Gohil) and his royal guest, Shehzada of Tehran. The episodes further bring various twists and turns and the most shocking turn of events in the show for the viewers.

Mulla Nasiruddin is baffled by the strange demand made by Krishnadevaraya, of creating a ladder that reaches the moon. Mulla Nasiruddin seeks Rama (Krishna Bharadwaj) for an idea to solve the riddle and decides to create an unusual story around it to impress the King. On the other hand, Rama and Mulla Nasiruddin as a joke plan to test Shehzada and Krishnadevaraya for a change and give them a challenge where they ask them to sell an ordinary pot at an exorbitant price. Rama is shocked when, the King and Shehzada figure out a way to sell the pot by offering both, Rama and Mulla Nasiruddin for free along with the pot. Fearful of being sold to someone, Rama apologizes and reveals that it was merely a joke.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Krishnadevaraya gets furious after learning about the prank and sentences both Rama and Mulla Nasiruddin to prison for crossing the line and disrespecting their King and his respected guest. The entire Darbaar is stunned.

Krishna Bharadwaj, essaying the role of Tenali Rama said that intense circumstances await for Rama and it will be as exciting for our viewers to watch as it was for us while shooting for these episodes. So stay tuned for the upcoming episodes and gear up for the events that will unfold.
