महाराज अग्रसेन जी की 5143 वीं जयंती समारोह धूमधाम और हर्षोल्लास से मनाई जाएगी: समारोह के तहत लगाया जाएगा रक्त दान शिविर

Chandigarh 28^th September:- अग्रवाल सभा चंडीगढ़ द्वारा हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी महाराज अग्रसेन जी की 5143 वीं जयंती समारोह को धूमधाम और हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाएगी। इसके तहत रक्तदान शिविर और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। ये जानकारी अग्रवाल सभा चंडीगढ़ के प्रधान प्रेम चंद गुप्ता और कार्यवाहक प्रधान नंदकिशोर गोयल ने पत्रकार वार्ता के दौरान दी। इस अवसर पर सभा के कार्यकारिणी सदस्य डॉक्टर शेखर सी जिंदल सहित अन्य मेंबर भी मौजूद थे।

अग्रवाल सभा चंडीगढ़ के प्रधान प्रेम चंद गुप्ता और कार्यवाहक प्रधान नंदकिशोर गोयल ने बताया कि 29 सितम्बर 2019 को महाराज अग्रसेन जयंती का भव्य समारोह अग्रसेन भवन सेक्टर 30 में शाम 7.30 बजे से सांस्कृतिक व अन्य कार्यक्रमों से सुसज्जित होगा। समारोह की शुरुआत हवन के साथ होगी। उसके बाद भवन प्रांगण में एक रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन भी किया जाएगा। साथ ही सोलर प्लांट और कम्पोस्टिंग मशीन का उदघाटन हरियाणा सरकार के राज्य मंत्री ज्ञान चंद गुप्ता जी अपने कर कमलों से करेंगे।  सांय को होने वाले सांस्कृतिक एवं सम्मान समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि पंजाब सरकार के लीगल रेमेम्बरन्स और लॉ सेक्रेटरी एस के अग्रवाल है।हरियाणा सरकार के पूर्व सचिव धर्मवीर और हरियाणा प्रदेश अखिल भारतीय अग्रवाल सम्मेलन के अध्यक्ष कुलभूषण अग्रवाल  समारोह के विशिष्ट अतिथि होंगे। समारोह की अध्यक्षता प्रेम चंद गुप्ता करेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि इस मौके सम्मानित होने वाले समाजसेवी और उद्यमी शीश पाल मित्तल, श्रीमती पुष्पलता गोयल,  सूरजभान बंसल, रोशन लाल गर्ग और जगमोहन गर्ग तथा मेधावी स्टूडेंट्स मून बंसल पल्लवी  बंसल, दिशांक जिंदल, तेजस मित्तल,ओजस मित्तल, साहिल जैन और  लक्षणया जिंदल प्रमुख है।

समाज के प्रति किये जा रहे सामाजिक कार्यों की जानकारी देते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि अग्रवाल सभा समाज भलाई के लिए, फ्री कंप्यूटर शिक्षा, फ्री सिलाई केंद्र, गरीब कन्याओं की शादी, विधवा पेंशन, प्राकृतिक आपदाओं में वितीय सहायता, जरूरतमंदों को उच्च शिक्षा के लिए सहायता, स्कूली बच्चों को मुफ्त गर्म कपड़े व जूते बांटना जरूरत मन्द मरीजों की सहायता आदि कई सालों से कर रही है।

भगत सिंह की विचार धारा पर शोध कार्य की आवश्यकताः राणा के. पी. सिंह

Chandigarh 28^th September:- शहीद-ए-आज़म सरदार भगत सिंह जी की 112वीं जयंती के अवसर पर आज गांधी स्मारक भवन सैक्टर 16 के सभागार में विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। मुख्य अतिथि पंजाब विधान सभा के स्पीकर राणा के. पी. सिंह, विशिष्ट अतिथि भगत सिंह के भतीजे किरण जीत सिंह ने प्रोग्राम में शिरकत की। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता गांधी स्मारक निधि के अध्यक्ष के.के. शारदा ने की व मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में बोलते हुए प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकार एम.एम.जुनेजा ने कहा कि भगत सिंह को जब फासी देने के लिए ले जाया जा रहा था तो भगत सिंह के चेहरे पर हंसी थी और ले जाने वाले लोग रो रहे थे।

राणा के. पी. सिंह ने कहा कि भगत सिंह एक साधारण क्रांतिकारी नहीं थे, वे एक सुपर क्रांतिकारी थे। भगत सिंह ने भारतीय संस्कृति को सही मायनो में समझा है। उन्होंने कहा कि भगत सिंह की राजनीतिक सोच पर अभी तक कोई शोध कार्य नहीं हुआ है। इसके लिए भगत सिंह पर चेयर स्थापित की जाने की जरूरत है।

के.के. शारदा ने कहा कि भगत सिंह की लोकप्रियता इतनी थी कि जब उनकी अस्थियों को लाहौर से लाया गया तो करीब एक लाख लोग वहाँ मौजूद थें।

वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष आर्चाकुल प्रेम विज ने कहा कि भगत सिंह ने बचपन में ही बंदूको की खेती की बात कर बता दिया था कि उनके मन में क्या था।

डा. देवराज त्यागी ने कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में आतिथियों का स्वागत किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन दीपक चनारथल ने किया। इस अवसर पर प्रसिद्ध गायकों द्वारा देश भक्ति के गीत प्रस्तुत किए गए।

National Theatre Festival, Rangrezz-2019 Concludes at Chitkara University

Chandigarh 28^th September:- Intriguing storyline, invigorating performances, fascinating forms, and distinctive voices – Chitkara University's National Theatre Festival, Rangrezz-2019, had the perfect blend of these, and more. The 2-Day National Theatre Festival was held on September 27-28, 2019, at Chitkara University, Punjab campus, with over 140 teams participating from 20 states across the country. This year's theme for Rangrezz was 'Light to Enlighten'.

Day-1 concluded on a high note with students grooving to hit Punjabi numbers of renowned Punjabi singer-actor Ranjit Bawa, as he set the stage on fire at the University campus. His electrifying performance charged hundreds of students & faculty with energy as he sang hit numbers - 'Yaari Chandigarh Waliye', 'Jean', 'Dollar Vs Roti', 'Ja Ve Mundya', 'Jatt Di Akal', leaving everyone dancing into the late hours!

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University; said that Chitkara University's National Theatre Festival - Rangrezz, aims to provide a National-level platform to the next generation of budding performers, to showcase their artistic abilities, while at the same time ensure artistic enrichment by cultivating a connect with our rich cultural heritage. She Added that we believe complementing extra-curricular activities with education, goes a long way in helping students develop a well-rounded personality.

Talking about Chitkara University’s unique initiative to encourage and promote Performance Arts in today’s ‘digital’ times, Anshuman Singh, prominent Theatre & Film Artist, said that he believes each one of us has talent–but to get a huge platform like Rangrezz to display it, is a huge advantage. Back in our days, He wish we had a National-level platform like Rangrezz, where we could be recognised or encouraged for our talent. Congratulations to Chitkara University for bringing to us this truly unique initiative, year after year.

Speaking about the unique selling proposition of theatre, Chintamani Biswal, Theatre Artist & Actor; said that theatre is, of course, a reflection of life. The plight, sorrow, helplessness exhibited by the performers on stage sometimes ends up closely mirroring our life – sometimes giving us a very important social message or hitting us with hard facts. He added that the performances he reviewed at Chitkara University were “each a masterpiece in its own respect.

Rehearsing their street play while waiting for the judges to visit, students of one the participating team explained what theatre spells for them. "Drama is a platform that allows you to be who you are not, and adds something new to your personality each time you perform a different character! A sweet mix of creativity and talent,” the enthusiasts exclaim.

Student performances continued all day long on Day-2, culminating in a grand show splashed with live performances by India's prominent theatre personalities and Rangrezz judges. The highlight of the evening was a very special Kathak dance live performance by Ms Shinjini Kulkarni, Kathak Dancer & grand-daughter of Kathak Maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj ji. It was a treat to watch her weave magic on stage with swift twirls, rhythmic foot movements, expressive motions and elegant stances. The National Theatre Festival – Rangrezz 2019, concluded with a glittering prize distribution ceremony where Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University; gave away the prizes to the winning teams and honoured the judges for their valuable time and contribution to Rangrezz.

‘Heart Team Approach’ introduced
