MobiKwik Announces Tie-Up with ONN Bikes: Launches Rent-a-Bike Service on Its App

Kulbir Singh Makes His Mark in J P Dutta's "Paltan"

Chandigarh 11th September:- City based actor/photojournalist Kulbir Singh Kalsi made his mark in the recently released JP Dutta’s directed film ‘Paltan’ Kalsi played the role of father of Lance Naik Harbhajan (Harvardhan Rane) in the film based on Indo-China 1965 War. Rajput Battalion of Indian Army did a valiant efforts in the war to restricts Chinese aggression on Indian territories.  

Director JP Dutta’s Border had already won many accolades including award from President of India. National Film Awards are terned as equal to American Acedemy Awards. Ministry of Defence, Govt of India consent the films of JP Dutta based on wars.

'Bhagavad Gita-Saying it the Simple Way' Released

Chandigarh 11th September:- The book 'Bhagavad Gita - Saying it the Simple Way' written by Vijay Singal was released at Chandigarh Press Club here today. The book is a compilation of supreme life changing shlokas from the Gita along with their English and Hindi translations respectively, for easy understanding of the readers. The placement of shlokas has been restricted to two shlokas per page so that the readers don't lose interest due to too much of text in a single page. The book has got blessings from popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

Chandigarh 11th September:- आज विधानसभा सत्र में खट्टर सरकार द्वारा बिजली के दाम आधे किये जाने पर नवीन जयहिंद ने कहा कि चुनाव नजदीक आते ही मनोहर लाल को बिजली के दाम आधे करने की याद आई क्योकि चुनाव में जनता के करंट कोपहले ही भांप गये है यह घोषणाये केवल चुनावी फायदा उठाने के लिए की गई है जिस तरह की नियम व शर्ते बिजली के बिल पर लागू है उससे प्रदेश की जनता को किसी भी तरह का फायदा मिलने की उम्मीद नही है  | यह घोषणा केवल 200 यूनिट के बिजली के बिल पर लागु है जबकि 2 महीने के बिजली के बिल भेजता है जिसमे हर व्यक्ति के घर पर 2 महीने में  200 यूनिट से ज्यदा खपत होती है | अगर मनोहर लाल वास्तव में जनता को फयदा पहुचना चाहता है तो दिल्ली सरकार की तरह 1 महीने की तरह होना चाहिए | खट्टर केजरीवाल की राह पर चलने का प्रयास तो कर रहे है लेकिन उन्होंने दिल्ली सरकार की नीतियों की सही तरह से पढ़ा नही |

विनोबा भावे की जयन्ती पर निःशुल्क हैल्थ कैम्प आयोजित किया

Chandigarh 11th September:- चंडीगढ आचार्यकुल चंडीगढ़ (रजि.) की ओर से आज सन्त विनोबा भावे की 124 वें जन्म दिवस पर कार्यक्रम और आयुर्वेदिक हैल्थ व शुगर चैक-अप कैम्प का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि चन्द्रावती शुक्ला पार्षद और अध्यक्षता के. के. शारदा अध्यक्ष गांधी स्मारक निधि ने की। कार्यक्रम का संचालन सचिव डा. देवराज त्यागी ने किया। धन्यवाद वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष पे्रम विज ने किया। कार्यक्रम का आरम्भ श्रीमती कंचन त्यागी के सुमधुर भजन से हुआ।

विनोबा जी को याद करते हुए शारदा जी ने कहा कि उन के भू-दान आंदोलन ने गरीब किसानों की हालात सुधार दी। उन्होंने 66 लाख एकड़ भूमि दान में लेकर भूमिहीन किसानों में बाट दी।

वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष प्रेम विज ने कहा कि आचार्यकुल चंडीगढ़ (रजि.) संस्था की स्थापना विनोबा जी ने की थी। यह संस्था सामाजिक सांस्कृतिक व निर्धनों की सहायता में कार्यरत है।

The event was judged by RJ Manisha and RJ Harsh. This contest saw three rounds  the ramp walk, a talent round and a question and answer session, Mr Fresher 2018 was won by Sanskar Kumar and Ms. Fresher 2018 was bagged by Ritika. There were many more titles which were given, Vaibhuv bagged the title of Mr. Handsome and Ms. Charming was given to Shivani, the most confident pair in the contest was Dhruv and Sakshi who were bestowed with the titles of Mr./Ms. Confident respectively. Based on the Netflix party theme students came dressed in fancy outfits with quirky props and the award from crowd for Mr. Dapper was given to Samik Kumar and Ms. Voguish to Anubhuti Sharmi.

Heart throbbing dance numbers, melodious songs, jokes, mimicry and other cultural performances by the students made the atmosphere extremely energetic.

Freshmen dazzled the stage with mesmerizing performances in singing, dancing and acting and among them Archi and Gagan Dogra were given the best performer award. Sanskar was adjudged as the winner of Mirchi campus Rockstar and will be referred as Agent983 and agent will have the benefit of enjoying all Mirchi Events free of cost.

Dr. Varinder Singh Kanwar, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University said that his advice to freshmen is to follow your dreams and passion, be always open to learning and most importantly focus on your ideas. Chitkara University is going to give you countless opportunities to engage and enrich and become part of diverse community of people who work together to make an impact and have fun in the present.

Chandigarh 10th September:- Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group, today, on its 70^th Anniversary, inaugurated its cutting edge electric vehicle (EV) facility in its Ennore plant. 'Mrs Punjaban' Season-8 Poster Released: Chandigarh Will be Witnessing Auditions of 'Mrs Punjaban' Season-8 on October 6

Chandigarh 10th September:- Punjab region's prestigious Beauty pageant for married women 'Agam Group Mrs Punjaban - Season 8' were announced at a press meet held at Chandigarh Press Club. The press conference  saw participation of Mrs. Rajani Saini, Director of the show, Mrs SK Saanjh, Producer of the pageant, Mrs Gurleen Puri Dhaliwal, Season 7 winner, Mrs Jaspreet Kaur Dhillon, Season 5 winner and Mrs. Lovleen Kaur. The pageant was formally unveiled by launch of Mrs Punjaban's Season 8's poster.

It was informed that the event is being presented by CT University in collaboration with Folk Studios and is being organized by AR Saini Glamour World.

On the occasion of the poster release ceremony of Season 8 the producer of the show, Mrs S.K. Saanjh said that our aim of doing this show is to promote Punjabi culture and provide a platform for married women to showcase their talent.

The show's director and organizer, Mrs. Rajni Saini said that the auditions of the show will be in different cities of Punjab & also in Chandigarh. Amritsar will be on 29th September, Jalandhar on 30th September, Chandigarh on 6th October, Ludhiana on October 7, Bathinda on October 13 And Moga on October 14.

Mrs. Gurleen Puri Dhaliwal, Season 7, winner, said that 25 contestants will be selected for the finals of the event, for which there will be three rounds. The first round will be of ramp, the second  will be of talent and the third round will be of Question and Answer.

Jaspreet Kaur Dhillon, Season 5 winner, said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among women for this show because they get an opportunity to show their talent even after getting married. There is no age limit in this show.

The winners of this show will also be given a Family Tour Package of a Five Star Hotel in Mussoorie for two nights and three days, besides the chance in Punjabi films.
