Chandigarh 26^th Mar, 2019:- After the raging success of Super Dancer, Sony Entertainment Television, promises a musical treat to its audience with a new show-Superstar Singer- Singing ka kal. The upcoming show, is all set to provide a platform to talented young aspirants under the age of 15 years, to learn and hone their singing talent further under the guidance of some exceptional musical stalwarts. Taking charge of the judging panel will be the multi-talented music-director, composer and singer–Himesh Reshammiya; a well-known name in the Bollywood playback singing and Indian Idol Judge – Javed Ali and a lady synonymous with a melodious voice that has enchanted people across all age groups –Alka Yagnik.

Flagging off the auditions in Chandigarh is singer par excellence, Jyotica Tangri who is hoping to instil the youngsters in the city with a lot of confidence for them to experience this musical journey.

The auditions have been held in cities like Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Indore, Nagpur, Dehradun, and on 30^th March the auditions will take place in Chandigarh 30 at Ajit Karam Singh International School, Sector 65, Mohali, Chandigarh, where the gates will open at 8:00am.

After Chandigarh, the auditions will take place in Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kolkata, Delhi, and Mumbai.

ADC Holds Meeting with Political Parties Ahead of Parliamentary Elections

Chandigarh 26^th Mar, 2019:- In a run up to the Parliamentary Elections, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Election Officer, SAS Nagar Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney chaired a meeting with the representatives of all the political parties in her office here. The meeting was also attended by the SDM Kharar Vinod Bansal and Tehsildar (Elections) Sanjay Kumar.

The politicians were informed about various aspects of election process including the Model Code of Conduct (MCoC), EVM/VVPAT awareness and the Nomination Process. Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney said that Model Code of Conduct (MCoC) has come into force with the announcement of election schedule and should be adhered to in the letter and spirit. She apprised the political parties regarding form 26 and form A&B in detail. She said that none of the columns should be left blank in the affidavit in form 26.

ADC further added that first randomization of EVM/VVPAT will take place on March 30th and appealed them to take part in this process. She said that representatives of all the political parties should take all the permissions from Suwidha App regarding campaigning and they should strictly adhere to all MCoC guidelines.

Divulging more, Mrs Sakshi Sawhney said that if the limit of 1400 votes exceeds in any polling booth, then auxiliary polling booth will be set up at there. She also appealed to the representatives of the political parties that they must appoint their BLAs booth wise as early as possible. She said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued instructions to candidates contesting Parliamentary Elections to submit one extra recent stamp size photograph, in addition to one submitted by them alongwith nomination form, for printing on the ballot paper.

 Later, discussions were held and queries of politicians were responded by ADC Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney. She urged them to go through the ECI guidelines carefully for the conduct of free and fair elections.

On this occasion Joginder Kanwar of BJP, Sukhdev Singh of BSP, Mohinder Pal Singh of CPI, Harsangat Singh of SAD, Gagan Preet Singh of SAD (Taksali), Bahadar Singh Chahal of AAP and Sandeep Dhiman of Cong were present.

विश्वास फाऊंडेशन व डिस्ट्रीक्ट बार एसोसिऐशन ने चण्डीगढ़ सेक्टर- 43 कोर्ट परिसर में लगाया रक्तदान शिविर

Chandigarh 26^th Mar, 2019:- विश्वास फाउंडेशन परम पूज्य गुरुदेव श्री स्वामी विश्वास जी के आशीर्वाद से मंगलवार को यहां चण्डीगढ़ सेक्टर 43 की डिस्ट्रीक्ट कोर्ट में रक्तदान कैंप लगाया। यह कैंप डिस्ट्रीक्ट बार एसोसिऐशन के सहयोग से लगाया गया। कैंप का संचालन ब्लड बैंक पी.जी.आई चण्डीगढ़ की टीम ने किया। कैंप में 103 रक्तदानियों ने भाग लिया जिसमें से 88 रक्तदानियों ने रक्तदान करने का पुण्य कमाया।

इस कैंप का उदघाटन बलबीर सिंह डिस्ट्रीक्ट व सैशन जज, विश्वास फाउंडेशन की जनरल सेक्रेटरी साध्वी नीलिमा विश्वास, डिस्ट्रीक्ट बार एसोसिऐशन के प्रधान अशोक चौहान, वाईस प्रधान शंकर गुप्ता, सैक्रेटरी सुनील नारंग व अन्य पदाधिकारियों ने दीप जलाकर कैंप की शुरूआत की।

कैंप सुबह 10 बजे शुरू हुआ यह कैंप दोपहर 4 बजे तक चला। सभी रक्तदानियों को सर्टिफिकेट व बैज देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Founder, Save The Himalaya Foundation (STHF) said that time has come that we consider environmental issues seriously and take appropriate measures to save the Himalayas and the environment for the sake of our future generations.

 Sanghasena, the Buddhist monk from Ladakh, was here in connection with the establishment of Chandigarh branch of STHF, is also the founder president of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) based in Leh (Ladakh).

It is important to know that 63 percent of raw material for clothing is derived from petroleum. Thus, huge amount of petroleum goes waste annually. It causes global warming. People must not throw away their clothes too frequently and use it few more times.

During a conference held in Press Club Sector 27, Vinod  Agarwal obtained the blessings of Rameshwari Sharma by touching her feet. In the conference, Smt. Rameshwari and R.K. Joshi told that Vinod Agrawal, as a Dy. Mayor wrote several letters to PM Narendra Modi, Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister of HP  Jai Ram Thakur and also to National Highway Authority of India and raise voice of Punjab's Kandi region. Due to his efforts, the dream of four lane national highway from Mubarikpur to Gurdaspur is now appears to be practical were as it was neglected since more 60 years.

This national highway would be useful for the army to reach the Gursaspur Border. Apart from this, it will be beneficial for the pilgrims traveling to religious places in HP such as Mata Chintpurni, Mata Jwala Ji Mata Chamunda Ji and Gurudwara Baba Vadbagh Singh Ji etc.

R.K Joshi, Convener Service Block Committee, District Court Complex Chandigarh, said that other advocates and teachers respect his mother Smt. Rameshwari  Sharma, therefore, there is a hope that BJP could win from Chandigarh.

Subedaar Major Pal Singh said that lot of Ex. Service Man and voters have affection with Vinod Agrawal so now there is a greater chance for BJP to win the elections.

Samman Aaj Ki Zarurat: Women of Worth Awards Pays Tribute to Womanhood with a Unique Fashion Walk by Spinal Injury Survivors

Chandigarh 24^th Mar, 2019:- Believing in the universality and authenticity of the idea- 'Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder' GID Planners initiated and organised ‘Samman Aaj Ki Zarurat -Women of Worth Awards', which witnessed Chandigarh's first ever Spinal Injury survivor’s ramp walk and first Ever Anthem Fashion Walk.

Keeping it different from conventional forms of fashion shows, the walk witnessed six  Spinal Injury survivors' four of whom were from Chandigarh's Spinal Rehab , who presented themselves stylishly on the ramp, on wheelchairs. This was done on not high decibel music but a meaningful ‘Anthem’.

On the sidelines of the unique event, a media interaction with the brave Spinal Injury survivors' was held. Kaushalya Devi, Vidya Kumari & Seerat, an 8 year old girl were present in the press meet. Nicky P Kaur - Founder, Chandigarh Spinal Rehab, Hemant Malik - Founder & CEO of GID Planners , Rishi Khanna - Owner of The Safehouse the venue partner of the event , Diksha Sachdeva - The Urban Biba (Blogger) also took part in the press meet.

Hemant Malik, Founder GID Planners said that the event was conceptualised three years ago when he visited Chandigarh Spinal Rehab for the first time. He heard the survivors' stories & they touched his heart, it's then that he decided to  bring these stories in front of people. Every year GID Planners celebrates Womanhood in March, this is our third year and this time we are celebrating with these women who have always fought with every situation.

According to Mrs. Nicky P Kaur, Founder, Chandigarh Spinal Rehab that everyone has beauty, but not everyone sees it. She want these strong willed ladies to be equated at par with able bodied women  and urge that they represent India at the same level as any other international beauty pageant.

Dr. Renéé Maschke (Physical Medical Rehab Specialist) from Germany came especially all the way for honouring the Spinal Injury Survivors for their courage. 

Kaushalya Devi, a Spinal Injury Survivor shared the story of her life with media. She said that after the spinal cord injury she was able to resurrect her life due to the love that she received from her near and dear ones. She gradually developed confidence and realized that outer beauty is not the only aspect that symbolises a woman. There are more facets to a lady.

Vidya Kumari, another survivor said that she believe, the trust she embody in herself has made her face life squarely.

Dr. Renéé Maschke, (Physical Medical Rehab Specialist) From Germany said that she always knew beauty is what we store inside us and not the outside appearance and our dear ladies have proved the same. She really appreciates this commendable work done by Hemant Malik from GID Planners.

Rishi Khanna , Owner Safehouse the venue partner of the event, said that we honoured these women of substance during the event, as these ladies have presented real life stories, which ensure that woman power is here to stay and that women need to be respected in our society.

 Diksha Sachdeva (The Urban Biba - Fashion Blogger) said that a woman  knows her worth and doesn’t measure herself against other women but stands strong, calm and self confident.

The Spinal Injury survivors took the ramp on their wheel chairs with élan on a heart touching Anthem by Chandigarh Spinal Rehab. This new concept caught the attention of the entire audience. The beauty embodied by the confident ladies on ramp was well presented in the ethnic wear chosen to be worn. All the survivors were honoured as an effort to celebrate the contribution of women to the society. For the entertainment of the viewers and the guests, Sara Gurpal an actress cum singer graced the event with her presence, an energetic and enthusiastic performance was given by  band D-Rugged Miracle By Rohan Batra & Shefalli Singh and a Salsa Performance (By La Baila Vista) By Zeeshan  set the stage ablaze. Dream Palm Resort also supported the event.

समाज अधिकार कल्याण पार्टी ने किया होली मिलन समारोह का आयोजन

Chandigarh 20^th Mar, 2019:- समाज अधिकार कल्याण पार्टी के चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश अध्यक्ष एडवोकेट दान बहादुर की तरफ से स्माल फ्लैट्स धनास में होली मिलन समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस समारोह में पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष शम्भू बैनर्जी अन्य सदस्यों के साथ मौजूद थे। शम्भू बैनर्जी ने चंडीगढ़ वासियों को होली के पावन त्योहार की मुबारकबाद देते सभी से इस त्योहार को शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से मनाने का आह्वान किया।

जिला संगरूर के अधीन आते गाँव कांझला में जन्मे पले अमन कौतिष ने अपने फ़िल्मी कैरियर किस शुरुआत पूजाबी मूवी “रोमियो राँझा” से की। अमन कौतिष के अनुसार उनका बचपन से ही ख्वाब था की वो अपना कैरियर फिल्मों में बनाये, इसके लिए उन्होंने पंजाबी यूनिवर्सिटी के थिएटर विभाग से शिक्षा हासिल की। अमन कौतिष ने बताया कि फ़िल्मी सफर कि तरफ कदम बढ़ते हुए उन्होंने वर्ष 2010 में दूरदर्शन नेशनल पर "पलटन" धारावाहिक में नेगेटिव करैक्टर निभाया। हालांकि इसमें उनकी भूमिका छोटी थी और उन्होंने 08 एपिसोड्स में काम किया। इसके बाद उन्हें “25 किल्ले”, “मिटटी न फरोल जोगिया”, “राँझा रिफ्यूजी” और “टेशन” फिल्मो में काम किया। उन्होंने पी टी सी कि 02 शार्ट मूवीज “भार” और “साडा-घर” में में भी काम किया है।

अपनी आने वाली फिल्मों के बारे जिक्र करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी आने वाली फिल्में डायरेक्टर मनभवन द्वारा निर्देशित सिप्पी ग्रेवाल और दिलप्रीत ढिल्लों अभिनीत “जद्दी सरदार” है, जो कि एक फैमिली ड्रामा है। इसके अलावा युवराज हंस अभिनीत पंजाबी मूवी “मोहतवर” में वो एक खलनायक कि भमिका में नजर आएंगे । इसी तरह वो एक कॉमेडी फिल्म “आपे पैन स्यापे” में भी एक अहम् भूमिका में नजर आएंगे।

अमन कौतिष ने बताया कि उनके रोल मॉडल नवाजुद्दीन सिद्दीकी और राजकुमार राव है। वो उनकी तरह के रोल निभा कर उनकी तरह ही फिल्म जगत में उनके जैसा ही मुकाम हासिल करना चाहते है।

अमन कौतिष फिल्मों में खलनायकी के बेताज बादशाह अमरीश पूरी कि तरह ही खुद को स्थापित करना चाहते है। उनका सपना है कि लोग उन्हें उनके नेगेटिव रोल के लिए हमेशा याद रखे।
