हिंदुस्तान स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स का पांच दिवसीय कोमल पद शिविर संपन्न

Chandigarh 28th November:- हिन्दुस्तान स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स का  पांच दिवसीय कोमल पद शिविर आज  महर्षि दयानंद पब्लिक स्कूल दरिया चंडीगढ़  में संपन्न हो गया है।  कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता हिन्दुस्तान स्काउट्स एंड गाइड्स के राष्ट्रीय सचिव रविन्द्र तलवाड़ ने की। सभी स्काउट्स  तथा गाइड्स  को ट्रेनिंग  लेने  लिए प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किये।  इस कैंप में बेस्ट स्काउट्स में मनोहर, हरप्रीत बावा और शिवम् को क्रमशः  प्रथम द्वितीय और तृतीय पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।  जबकि गाइड्स  बेस्ट गाइड्स में आँचल, सरगम, और जयंती को क्रमशः पहला, दूसरा और तीसरा पुरस्कार मिला। जसप्रीत और ध्रुवश को स्काउट मित्र से सम्मानित किया गया।  शिविर में कैंप इंचार्ज कल्याण शर्मा और पुष्पराज ने सभी
प्रतिभागियों को स्काउटिंग का  प्रशिक्षण दिया।

चंडीगढ़ के राज्य डॉ. सचिव विनोद कुमार ने बताया कि इस शिविर में चंडीगढ़, के  भिन्न - भिन्न स्कूलों के स्टूडेंट्स  ने भाग लिया। उन्होंने आगामी शिविरों के कार्यक्रमों भी जानकारी दी।

GGSCW Holds its 38th Annual Convocation:443 Degrees Conferred to Students

Chandigarh 28th November:- Post Graduate Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh organized its 38th Annual Convocation in the college premises on November 28th, 2016 . The First Lady, Mrs. Alka Singh, W/o V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. After the introduction of the Staff, the Chief Guest along with Academic Procession entered the hall to the melodious tunes of Sitar played by the college students. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Shabad “Gur Parsadi Vidya Vichare Parh-Parh Pave Maan”.
Col (Retd.) J.S Bala (Secretary, Sikh Educational Society) welcomed the Chief Guest. Gurdev Singh Brar accorded a floral welcome to the Chief Guest. The College Principal Dr. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi presented the annual report of the college, highlighting the achievements and activities of the college faculty and students.

The Chief Guest, in her convocation address, applauded the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, calling him a Saint, a Soldier and a Poet par-excellence, and motivated the students to follow the path of righteousness like him. She touched upon the key issues of Organ Donation and making India Cashless, which she said, is the need of the hour. At the end she praised the institution for its excellence and encouraged the students to become the bright future of the Nation.

Registration for E Auction of New Series- CH01-BK Will Starts from 01 December

Chandigarh 28th November:- The general public and residents of Chandigarh has been informed that the registration for participating in e-auction of vehicle registration numbers of new series "CH01-BK" for special or choice registration numbers 0001 to 9999 will start from 01.12.2016 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 07.12.2016 (05:00 PM) and the e-auction will start on 08.12.2016 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 10.12.2016 (05:00PM).
The owner of the vehicle can register himself or herself on the National Transport website: https://parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department
 website:www.chdtransport.gov.in  and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). The owner of the vehicle who has purchased the vehicle at Chandigarh address only will be allowed to participate in e-auction. Sale Letter i.e Form No. 21, UID i.e. Aadhaar Card and address proof of Chandigarh are mandatory to participate in the e-auction. After getting himself  or herself registered on the above cited National Transport website or through Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website, the owner of the vehicle will deposit the fee for registration for participating in e-auction and reserve amount of the special or choice registration numbers in the O/o Registering & Licensing Authority, Near Municipal Corporation Building Sector-17, U.T., Chandigarh by way of DD in favour of “Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh” payable at Chandigarh.

SBI’s BC Channel Gathers Steam in Chandigarh Circle

Chandigarh 28th November:-State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle, organised camps at 405 locations in the states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K & Punjab to open bank accounts. All the Customer Service Points (CSPs) run by the Bank’s Banking Correspondents (BCs) participated in the two-day long account opening campaign. More than 12,500 accounts were opened over the long weekend. Most of the new customers acquired comprised workers from the unorganized sector, wage earners, women and students. All the new accounts were seeded with Aadhar and Mobile numbers.
In order to serve the target segments better through its BC Channel, the bank has also installed 645 Micro ATMs at CSPs, mostly in Rural and semi-urban areas, including far-flung hilly terrains. The Micro ATMs provide instant cash payment. Remittances to Bank’s customers or even to customers of other Banks can also be made using the Micro ATMs through Rupay and Debit Cards. Bank plans to double the number of such Micro ATMs during the month of December 2016, said SBI CGM, Anil Kishora,

Chandigarh 28th November:- चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम के 18 दिसम्बर को होने वाले चुनावों का चुनावी बिगुल बज चूका है।नामांकन के सातवे दिन आज कांग्रेसऔर भाजपा के उम्मीदवारों ने तो अपने नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किये ही, वही इसी क्रम में आज़ाद उम्मीदवार भी पीछे नही रहे।  वार्ड नंबर 19 सेआज़ाद उम्मीदवा अरुण कुमार ने आज अपने समर्थकों के साथ रिटर्निंग अफसर आर के पोपली  के समक्ष अपना  नामांकन पत्र भरा।उनके कवरिंग कैंडिडेट के रूप में उनके पुत्र लोकनाथ ने नामांकन पत्र भरा।

पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते  हुए ने अरुण कुमार ने कहा कि वार्ड .19 में अनगनित समस्याएं है। इस वार्ड में किसी भी तरह का विकास नही हो पाया है। उन्होंने बताया की कल से वो अपने वार्ड में चुनाव प्रचार शुरू कर देंगे।
