Sanskar Bharti and Sangeet Natak Academy organize Patriotic Drama “Wo Hindustan”

Chandigarh 05th November:- Sangeet Natak Academy in association with Sanskar Bharti  organized a emotional drama “Wo Hindustan”  at the Tagore Theatre here today by the Students of Sanskar Bharti. This drama was based on autobiography of Great freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad. The programme was commenced with song “Sadhyayati Sanskar Bharti” presented by students of Sanskar Bharti. After this song some Hon’ble members of Sanskar Bharti honored with “Pragati Samman” for their remarkable works in their respective fileds. Honored personalities were Dr. Mahendra Prasad Sharma, Dr. Amrita Bhullar, Shri Yogesh Kumar, Kiran Bala , Mansi Saxena,. Shraddha Murlidharan and Mehak Sharma.  This ceremony was followed by patriotic drama “Wo Hindustan”. This was directed by Mukesh Sharma, Head of Drama department of Sanskar Bharti.  Dr. Saubhagya Vardhan appreciates the remarkable work done by Sanskar Bharti and its contribution towards the society for its development.
Through this drama we came to know how our youth is blindly faith on terrorists and gave them freedom to do the wrong acts. When youth is openly supported Afjal Guru and compare him with great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and Rajguru, they are just making insulting comparisons. They need to know the difference between patriotism and terrorism. They are not aware about the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters for a noble cause. Today’s youth is blindly follow some young and shroud people who portray themselves as patriotic but they are serving their own selfish motives on stake of country’s welfare. They are just making fool to our youth and trying to use them for their bad intentions for the country. Our youth needs to understand the difference between patriotism and terrorism. This was the motive of drama “Wo Hindustan”, this drama leaves the audience spell bound.
All the artists were honored with certificates and memento after the programme.
