Strawberry Samaritans Spreads “Healthy Eating Habit” Message

Chandigarh 24th November:- Pledging on the Coming World Obesity Day i.e. 26 November 2016 to set a healthy future of their age mates, both these Samaritans started an initiative of Healthy Eating and correcting the menu of theirs’ School Canteen. As Charity starts from own home, these budding stars first surveyed their own school students, made a healthy menu with the help of a dietician and then spread amongst other school students. 
10th Standard studs Adit Jindal and Chaitanya Gupta of Strawberry Fields School Chandiagrh, are now all set to launch an app on Healthy Eating as well. In this endeavour they had visited private and government schools, presented presentations on Obesity and its consequences. Initially they faced little obstacle while awakening their age mates regarding Healthy Eating but later on younger and students of their age not only understood but also shared helping hand in awakening the other students of many government and private schools.
Notably, their project “Eat Healthy Be Fabulous” is well appreciated and recognized by TGELF (The Global Education & Leadership Foundation). TGELF has chosen 12 teams across the INDIA in which one of the projects is of ADIT JINDAL and CHAITANYA GUPTA 
While Expressing further on this project Adit Jindal said that many students in our age are fascinated towards unhealthy lifestyle whereas there is so much healthy food that we can have and could save ourselves from deadly diseases like Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Attack etc. 
Nodding on the same Chaitanya Gupta said that we have approached government school students and private school students, we had a hard time while convincing them on their eating habits and changing the school menu was even harder. 
Adi Jindal added that today in this walkathon, we are making students understand why this is so important to have Healthy eating life pattern so that they can reduce the risks of diseases around them.
