Kharar/Mohali 02nd February:- The Sehajdhari Sikh Party is
supporting the Congress Party and today the party with its workers and
supporters under the leadership of their National President Dr.PS Ranu
campaigned door to door meeting shopkeepers and people in favor of Jagmohan
Singh Kang and Balbir Singh Sidhu candidates from Kharar and Mohali to vote for
Captain Amrinder Singh’s Govt. The Party feels that for a stable Governance
only Captain Amrinder is the best choice for Punjab as the AAP who got four
MP’s couldn’t stay united then how come it be believed that 117 shall remain
under the command of Arvind kejriwal.
Dr. P S Ranu said that the Minorities
in Punjab are feeling unsafe under the regime of SAD-BJP where
sacrileges of religious Holly Granths went boiling the State for the last two
years with a disturbed law and order situations promoting jail breaks by
gangsters and cross border terrorist activities which has strengthened the drug
and land mafia. Police atrocities on peaceful agitators fighting for
their rights and humiliation of females and senior citizens is a self
speaking picture of the Human Rights violations by the State Govt. SSP has been
supporting the INC unconditionally since 2002 continuously and now in 2017
legislative assembly elections in Punjab the party considers it appropriate to
again extend its unconditional support to INC in the larger interest of Punjab
to save the State from the clutches of fascist forces and to make it a
fearless, drug free state.
Dr. P S Ranu stated that it has been
observed that the SAD-BJP combine is harping on divide and rule politics by
propagating AAP and now to stop them to come in power in the interest of Punjab
and Punjabiyat it has been decided to extend support to a largest political
party which is a secular force where the interests of minorities are safe and
that is the INC only in Punjab under the dynamic leadership of captain
Amarinder Singh. Henceforth the support is purely unconditional to the INC by
the SSP for saving the Punjab from fascist forces.
