10th March:- The Postgraduate Department of
English, Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26 organized an Expert
Lecture on “European drama” on March 10th, 2017.
The lecture was delivered by Prof.
Rana Nayal, Department of English and Cultural Studies, PU, who dwelt upon
different Dramatic texts to explain Theatre down the ages. The portrayal of
life on stage over the centuries was the main focus.
The lecture was followed by an
interactive session wherein the students got their doubts resolved by the
expert
The HOD, Dr Jaslene Dhaliwal
delivered the vote of thanks at the end.
