Gian Jyoti Global School Celebrates World Earth Day

Chandigarh 22^nd April:- Gian Jyoti Global School organized a cleanliness drive to celebrate World Earth Day at its campus in Phase-2, Mohali. On the occasion students also participated in other creative activities like Face Painting on the theme of Save Earth, Heathy food habits, slogan writing, poster making etc.

Students and staff members took pledge during the occasion to save their mother land by keeping it green and clean. The tiny tots also planted saplings in the school premises.

Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School appreciated the efforts of young toddlers and teacher for organizing cleanliness drive.  She also reminded students about their responsibility towards Mother Earth and administered a pledge to protect and save our fast depleting natural resources. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and the belief that the students would respect their natural inheritance and be good caretaker of their planet.

She said that the main aim of this celebration was to sensitize the students about saving their mother earth & to keep it clean. She added further that to build a better future, we all must commit to protect our environment near and around.
