Ali Asgar Reach Chandigarh to Promote Show "Lip Sing Battle"

Chandigarh 19^th September:- Get ready to witness a fun filled, highly entertaining never seen before kind of a battle between biggest celebrities of India. Pitting them against each other in this fun filled format is none other than Bollywood’s super successful director Farah Khan.  All this, on Star Plus’ brand new offering Lip Sing Battle.

The show is an Indian adaptation of the successful international show–Lip Sync Battle – bringing together a host of A-list celebrities including not only Bollywood superstars but also popular television actors and luminaries from the world of sports apart from others.

Farah is known for brand of hardcore entertainment and there’s no doubt that she takes the show several notches higher on the entertainment scale. Popular among the audience for her sense of humor and effervescent persona, Farah is not only the presenter but also creatively involved in the show that promises great entertainment value with celebrity madness.

Each episode of the show features two celebrities coming face-to-face as they are pitted against each other in a competition of winning the viewer’s hearts by their madness quotient and their ability of lip-syncing on super hit songs.

The show also features Ali Asgar who brings comic relief with his funny antics and witty gags. He said that he has been shooting for the show since a few days and let him tell that it’s been a blast.  You have Bollywood superstars coming on sets and doing wacky stuff that you have not seen them doing before anywhere else and in between all the madness and masti, he too add a dash of humor with his gags. You will get to see him in several avatars, sporting various get ups, mimicking well-known celebrities and popular filmy characters and so on. There is a great amount of learning on the sets. He is a big fan of Farah and he loves her creative instincts and spontaneity.

Ali Asgar added further that what attracted him to Lip Sing Battle is its unique fun filled concept. The idea of having two celebrities competing with each other on Bollywood dance tracks is very amusing. Their skills are tested over three different levels and the one, who entertains the best, wins.

Lip Sing Battle is set to go on air on September 16 and will feature stars like Arjun Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra among others, who will come in pairs to outdo each other in the battle of entertainment and lip-syncing in this unique format called Lip Sing Battle.
