19th September:- The Chandigarh Housing Board has
approved the New Citizens’ Charter vide Agenda item no. 402.5.1. During the
process of implementation of the provisions of the New Citizens’ Charter, it
has come to notice that there are provisions for giving public notice for
inviting objections in the cases applied for transfer under the
Consensual/Blood Relation/Addition or Deletion of the spouse name Transfer
Policy and for mutation of property on the basis of Sale deed/transfer
deed/gift deed etc. However, as per past practice, the Chandigarh Housing Board

All the concerned and interested
persons, who have reasonable claim(s) against the property and to avoid any
sort of fraudulent transfers, it has been decided that public notice shall be
given in all such cases, as per the provisions of the New Citizens’ Charter
with effect from 19/09/2017.
