“Big FM's Khushiyon Ki Marathon”: Green and Eco Friendly Diwali Celebrations at Plaza

Chandigarh 14th October:- To celebrate the festival of lights with the people of City Beautiful, Reliance Broadcasting 92.7 Big FM in association with Chandigarh Tourism today organized biggest Diwali Bonanza, “Khushiyon Ki Marathon” a musical evening at Sector 17 Plaza.
Festival spirit was more than palpable during this fun event. Famous Punjabi celebrities Ranjit Bawa, Tarsem Jassar were part of the celebrations, performing in their own inimitable style and took the level of fun and excitement of audience to the crescendo.  In addition to this there were rocking cultural performances by students from Chandigarh University and not to forget that there were endless gratifications for Chandigarhians, who had gathered there.
Weaving the idea of ‘Khushiyan Hongi Zyada Yeh Hai BIG FM Ka Vaada’ the celebrations started with MJ’s rolling out the festival spirit and plan for the evening . The highlight of the grand event was the presence and electrifying performance by popular Punjabi Actor & Singer Ranjit Bawa who have sung hit numbers like  “Mitti Da Bawa , Ja Ve Mundya, Truckan Wale, Phulkari” &Punjabi Actor & Singer  Tarsem Jassar of Rehmat, Sardara, Galwakdi, Asool” fame. Jass Bajwa & Hardeep Grewal also enthralled audiences with their electrifying performances. Singers extended Diwali greetings to all residents of the Tricity and especially congratulated the families and prize winners of the various contests. Celebrities also urged all Tricity residents to celebrate eco-friendly, clean & green Diwali this year.
