Chandigarh 18th August:- Sony SAB’s
weekend show Namune has been spreading the message of finding happiness in
little things, since its first episode. Inspired by the characters in legendary
P.L. Deshpande’s stories and plays, such as Babdu and Damu Istriwala, the show
is being appreciated by viewers, young and old. In the upcoming episodes,
distinguished Bollywood & Television actor Manoj Joshi will portray the
role of ‘Mohan ji’ inspired by P.L. Deshpande’s character ‘Hari Tatya’.
Mohan Ji (Manoj Joshi) arrives at the
Agnihotri household as a guest, playing an old man who lives in history, taking
references of the past and applying that in the present. He is one who holds
the opinion that everything can be learnt from history. He is also seen
enacting historical characters as if he is in those situations. This is
something that irks the family to no end, secretly making them want the unwanted
guest to leave.
Commenting on the upcoming
episodes, Toral Rasputra, playing the role of Bhairavi said that in the
upcoming episodes, viewers are in for exciting History lessons, with a touch of
exasperation. It was an honour working with the veteran actor Manoj Joshi who
will be seen turning the Agnihotri house upside down, managing to trouble the
most patient family members.
