Hari & Sukhmani, the
sound synonymous with contemporary folklore in India as well as
Internationally, who sprung out of Chandigarh a decade ago, will be taking
centre stage from 8:30 pm onwards at Upstairs Club , WelcomHotel
Bella Vista on September 1, 2018.
Staying
true to their style and artistic creation, combining their roots with an array
of sounds to play with, they present to you the iconic traditional Punjabi folk
enhanced with the ‘Music of their own genre’.
Hari
a well rounded audio engineer & a vocalist and Sukhmani - with her
signature voice accomplished through training in Hindustani classical & a
natural performer, known to create magic on stage, will be kicking off their 10
year tour and celebrating along with their city.
The
performance will include 10-year edits of Boohey Bariyaan, Sanu Nehar Waaley,
and Challa. Apart from that, expect to hear their latest collaboration with
"The Coconut Kids" from Adelaide, Australia. And finally, Closing the
set will be the duo’s fresh take on their well received Electro Qawwali
Project.
