26th November:- Constitution Day was celebrated in Guru Gobind Singh College
for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh. A special talk was organized on the occasion
and was delivered by Prabhjot Kaur, Head, Department of Political Science of
the college. The students were enlightened about the Constitution of India, a
truly unique document.
An
essay writing competition was also held where more than 30 students
participated with full enthusiasm and zeal. It was followed by an open house
quiz, to acquaint students with the Indian Constitution and its salient
features.
Vice
Principal of the college, Harpreet Kaur, in her address, threw light on the
significance of celebrating Constitution Day.
