UBS’s Management Conclave Sapience 1.0 Concludes

Chandigarh 30th September:- The  Management Conclave on the theme building leadership for tomorrow ‘Sapience 1.0’  being organised by the Business Club of University Business School (UBS) concluded at Rajiv Gandhi College Bhawan, Panjab University, here . The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Kulwinder Singh - Advisor, Business Club of UBS. Three UBS students -Raghu Bhatia, Utkarsh Rastogi and Kriti Sharma also formed an important part of the organizing team. The event was moderated by Professor Meenakshi Malhotra. Professor Deepak  Kapur, Chairperson, UBS also graced the occasion with his presence.
Speaking during the event, Bhavnesh Bhat, Founder & Director –HR, Ripple HR said that the power of communication can't be ignored.
Bhavnesh engaged the audience by using a video presentation and advised the students that to go into the depths of communication and understand the essence of communication rather than emphasising on rhetoric.
Following Bhavnesh, Abhinav Chamoli, Head Advisory Partnerships Adobe explained the audience the difference between data, information and knowledge. 
Anjali Ahuja, Director-HR, ERM India showed concern that we have been able to create managers but not leaders.
Talking about leadership, she said that what you give is what you get. And being questioned about trust she replied to the students, touch people's heart and they will do anything for you.
Summing up the session, Samar Singla, CEO, Founder of Jugnoo mentioned that the risk return ratio in entrepreneurship is better than a corporate life. But then entrepreneurship is full of stress.
He advised the young minds in the audience that if someone can cope up with stress, an entrepreneur venture can be pursued.
On day 1 of the Management Conclave ‘Sapience 1.0’, speakers from the diverse fields held a discussion on, ‘Revival of Economy’. The eminent speakers who were present on the day 1 were Harvinder Sagoo, Mukul Chopra, Sachin P.Gulati and Vikas Dua.
