Chandigarh 19th October:- An
art exhibition by young city artists from Rotaract Club of Soaring Monks to
raise money for treating juvenile diabetics was held at sector 17 Plaza here on
Saturday.
Four Rotaract members including Amuleek
Sidhu, Abhiroop Kaur, Shruti Yadav and Malavika Sharma volunteered to make
several art pieces for sale during an exhibition to spread awareness and
raising money for treating juvenile patients suffering from type 1 diabetes.

Sidhu who is a diabetic herself realized the need to help such young children.
They together aimed to collect money for the medication cost for at least
10-15 juvenile diabetics.
The exhibition displayed some fine
art pieces including hand-made graphic t-shirts, painted plant holders and
beautiful paintings that one could put in house as home decor.
Malavika, director community
services of club said that inspiration behind this exhibition was to uplift the
underprivileged and marginalized sections of the society.
