Governor Inaugurates CII Chandigarh Fair 2019: CII Chandigarh Fair Attracts Huge Crowds on Day 1: 450 Stalls Attract Domestic and International Visitors

Chandigarh 18th October:- The 24th edition of CII Chandigarh Fair 2019, being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), kick-stared at Parade Ground, Sector 17, today with huge fanfare. The fair will be open from 10 am to 8 pm till 21 October. V P Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Governor, Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh inaugurated the Fair today. 
Governor, Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, said that this is the third time, he is inaugurating CII Chandigarh Fair. With every edition, CII Chandigarh Fair is becoming grander than before, offering greater options to the visitors from not only the region but the entire country. The Fair offers the visitors an experience and convenience of seeing beautiful handicrafts, consumer durables, Diwali gifts, home décor items, special antique collection, processed food, kitchen appliances and swanky cars under one umbrella. He also extended his best wishes to the visitors for the blissful festive season.
CII Chandigarh Fair has become an inevitable business & promotion platform for wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, manufacturers, and representatives from various trade and non-governmental organisations, and has proven to be a great marketing activity for the participating brands.
Living up to its legacy of bringing in the best deals in consumer goods, the CII Fair presents home décor, automobiles, handicrafts, electronics, fashion apparels, healthcare, finance, in 12 concurrent expos, all under one umbrella at the most perfect time of the year. The Governor also took a round of the exhibition and visited various stalls. 
Sarvjit Singh Virk, Chairman, CII Chandigarh, said that CII’s endeavour has always been to cater to the demands of the people from the region. For the past 23 years CII has been bringing the very best in consumer products etc. for the discerning Diwali shoppers from the region and this year we have introduced very attractive discounts & gifts, to live up to the expectations of the people. He added that we have all possible shopping options ranging from Home Appliances to Health Care, Frozen Food to Furniture, Apparels to Automobiles and Financial Solutions to Home Décor, all under one roof to make the shopping experience for the people a memorable one.
The Fair attracted huge crowds from the region on Day one, reinforcing the expo's position as a proven and trusted shopping hub.

The exhibition is being supported by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India; Tea Valley as Associate Sponsor; Dr Lal PathLabs and State Bank of India as Associate Co-Sponsors and Oriental Insurance as Contributor, to name a few.
