Chandigarh 26th November:- Additional Deputy Commissioner
(Development) Mrs. Aashika Jain today exhorted the people to follow the path
shown in Constitution of India for carving out a vibrant, harmonious and united
India.
Presiding over a oath taking
ceremony here at the District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar to mark the
National Constitution Day today, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that
the Constitution has played an important role not only safeguarding the rights
of the people but also in making India a progressive and powerful nation. She
said that Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar has given a state of the art Rule Book to the
country on this day in 1949 in the form of Constitution, which was till now
playing a key role in ensuring socio-economic growth of the country. Aashika Jain said that this was a one of its kind rule
book which envisages equal right for one and all irrespective of their caste,
color, creed and sex.
On the occasion Assistant
Commissioner (G) Yashpal Sharma, Assistant Director Youth Services Mrs.
Rupinder Kaur, DDPO D.K. Saldi and others were also present.
