Chandigarh 20th Dec:- Owndays from Japan, one of the
largest players in the fashion eyewear brand market opened its first store in
Chandigarh at Elante Mall. This is the Japanese chain’s fifth store in
India. The trendy store was inaugurated by Himanshi Khurana, well known Punjabi
film actress who also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss as a
contestant. The event was also graced by the Vice president (India Operations)
Mr. Sanjay Malhotra, who has been the pillar of strength behind the expansion
of the Indian business, Miss Priyanka Gupta, Director of Owndays India.
Priyanka’s family has been in the optical industry for more than half a
century. She is currently the third generation in the eyewear business and Yuya
Tabata, Country Manager for Owndays India, whose strategies and sales ideas
have played a pivotal role in bringing the company this far.
