Chandigarh, Dec.06,
2021:- Six
major employees' federations and organizations of UT and MC Chandigarh had
earlier jointly met Director Health and Secretary Health, Chandigarh
Administration on the issue of reinstatement of 178 terminated NHM
employees and also demanded to rejoin the services of sacked employees.
Ignoring these demands, the Director Health, Chandigarh Administration has not
yet addressed the issue and the sacked employees are struggling.
The
NHM employees are struggling to join their services since last 40 days and due
to lack of decision making of hospital administration, the employees were
forced to move for litigation too.
The
Director Health was showing adamant behavior in joining of these sacked
employees and now reinstatement has been put on hold due to an excuse to
withdraw the litigation before joining. The lack of decision making of Director
Health has created a deadlock.

shouted slogans at Director Health office to rejoin the services of sacked NHM
employees. Due to ignorance of the commendable work of NHM employees during
COVID-19 by Director Health, the repatriation of concerned Director to Punjab
were also demanded.

intensify their struggle and dharna demonstration at the door of Chandigarh
