हल्लोमाजरा निवासी ने नर्सिंग होम पर बच्चा बदले जाने के लगाए आरोप:पुलिस ने शिकायत पर नही की कोई कार्यवाही नर्सिंग होम प्रबंधन ने आरोपों को बताया निराधार

Chandigarh 24^th February:- चंडीगढ़ हल्लोमाजरा निवासी जसविंदर सिंह ने सेक्टर 21 के एक नर्सिंग होम में उनकी पत्नी की 15 फरबरी 2016 में डिलीवरी के दौरान बच्चा बदले जाने की शिकायत के मामले में चंडीगढ़ पुलिस द्वारा कोई उचित कार्यवाही न किये जाने के आरोप लगाए है। उन्होंने इस सम्बन्ध में चंडीगढ़ पुलिस के आलाधिकारियों से भी गुहार लगाई है पर अभी तक उन्हें न्याय नही मिल पाया है ।

चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित पत्रकार वार्ता में जसविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि उन्हें 02 बच्चे पहले है और उनकी दोनों कि डिलीवरी  सेक्टर 21 के संगीता नर्सिंग होम में हुयी है। अपने अगले बच्चे के डिलीवरी के लिए भी 13 फरवरी 2016 को अपनी पत्नी रीना को संगीता नर्सिंग होम में एडमिट करवाया था। 15 फरवरी को उनकी पत्नी को आपरेशन थिएटर में ले जाया गया ।डिलीवरी सुबह साढे 06 बजे हुयी थी जबकि उन्हें पुरे 01घंटे बाद बताया गया की उन्हें लड़की हुयी है। उन्होंने इसे भगवान् कि रज़ा समझ कर कबूल किया और बच्चे को अपना लिया। जसविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि उनके परिवार में सब कुछ ठीकठाक चल रहा था कि एक दिन उनकी पत्नी को उनके जीजा जी सुखविंदर सिंह का फ़ोन आया कि डिलीवरी के दौरान अनेक बच्चा बदल दिया गया था और डिलीवरी के दौरान उन्हें लड़की नही लड़का हुआ था। सुखविंदर सिंह ने यह भी बताया था की उनका बच्चा इन दिनों पंजाब के अमृतसर जिले में है। पहले तो उन्हें उनकी बातों और अपने कानो पर यकीन नही हुआ। पर जीजा जी के बार बार इस बारे में जोर दिए जाने पर उन्होंने अपने दूसरे रिश्तेदारों से बातचीत क़ी तो सब हैरान हो गए।

जसविंदर सिंह ने बताया क़ी जीजा सुखविंदर सिंह पर यकीन न कर पाने का कारण था क़ी उनके साथ रिश्तों में खटास चल रही है। किसी पारिवारिक मामले को लेकर उनसे दूरियां बनी हुयी है पर उनके कहने पर जब हमने संगीता नर्सिंग होम में जाकर पता करने क़ी बात कही तो उन्होंने कहा कि नर्सिंग होम वाले उन्हें कुछ नही बताएंगे अगर उन्हें अपना बच्चा चाहिए तो 20 लाख रुपये दिए जाए इसमें से संगीता नर्सिंग होम और दूसरे लोगों को पैसे दिए जाएंगे।

जसविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि बच्चा पाने के लिए उन्होंने पुलिस मुख्यालय में पब्लिक विंडो पर शिकायत दी। पर सेक्टर 19 थाना पुलिस ने उन्हें पहले बुला कर शिकायत सुनने कि बजाए सीधा संगीता नर्सिंग होम प्रबंधन से संपर्क साधा। बाद में उन्हें बुलाया गया, जब उन्होंने जांच अधिकारी को पूरी बात बताई और कहा कि उनके पास जीजा सुखविंदर सिंह जी से बच्चा बदला जाने और पैसे मांगे जाने कि रिकॉर्डिंग कि सी डी है तो जांच अधिकारी ने कहा कि ऐसी सी डी'ज तो वह 10 बना सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके केस में कोई दम नही है और इस मामले में कुछ नही हो सकता।

जसविंदर सिंह और उनकी पत्नी रीना ने बताया कि उनके जीजा सुखविंदर सिंह को जब पता चला कि हमने पुलिस को शिकायत दी है तो उसने उनकी बहिन को तलाक दिए जाने कि धमकी देकर शिकायत वापिस लिए जाने का दबाब बनाया।

जसविंदर सिंह और उनकी पत्नी रीना ने कहा की जब उन्हें पुलिस से इन्साफ नही मिला तो उन्होंने अदालत का दरवाज़ा खटखटाया। यहाँ से उन पूरा इन्साफ मिलने की उम्मीद है ।

वहीँ जब इस बारे में संगीतानर्सिंग होम के प्रबंधन से बात कि गयी तो डॉक्टर संगीता ने बताया कि जसविंदर सिंह द्वारा लगाए सभी आरोप निराधार है । इन तथ्यों में कोई भी सच्चाई नही है, बल्कि उनके बच्चे का तो डी एन ए टेस्ट भी रखा है। वह परिवार सच्चाई मानने को तैयार ही नही है ।

NGO Aasmaan Celebrates 14 February as Kanya Pujan Diwas

Ambala 24^th February:- “Mera Aasmaan” is an NGO conceptualized & initiated by Aseem Goel, MLA Ambala City, focusing on every girls dream “ Mujhe Jeene do, Mujhe Padhne do–badhne do” which was then launched by Kaptan Singh Solanki. Under this NGO Aseem Goel has worked for the development of the Girl Child. This was the first organization to introduce indian smart intellectual virtual classroom in Government recognized Schools at Nanyola, Police Line & Prem Nagar. Another achievement of this organization was to introduce E-Virtual Digital Clinics in villages near Ambala. He also believes in supporting families who are unable to look after their girl child & cannot afford to get them married, therefore the thought emerged & converted into an occasion to be celebrated every year on 14^th Feb as Kanya Pujan Day, also the day 14^th Feb was auspicious since it was Sushma Swaraj Birth Anniversary. On this special day Aseem Goel showers his blessings on all the married couple for their successful future ahead.

Aseem Goel blessed the married couples and donated various gifts to them. This was followed by bhandara lunch for 5000+ people including families & relatives of the couples who got married. Main event had cabinet ministers of Haryana who graced the occasion with their presence. This event was one of its kinds and had increased a moment of pride in Ambala city. The finale event will be grand celebration on 6^thMay in Ambala City, Huda Ground Sector 8, where many Bollywood actors, playback singers, Sports Personalities will come and participate in the event. This event will also have an award ceremony session called “Haryana Ratan Awards” to be handed over to the achievers who have made big names in various streams & who belong to Haryana State this has been planned to increase the circle of development from Ambala to entire Haryana. Mera Aasmaan will be distributing laptops to girls, admission in English language courses to be initiated by the NGO. Many unemployed people will be given E-Auto Rickshaws, E-Vegetable Carts for employment. This will also have village adoption for its development and welfare by sponsors. This will work for the betterment of people and specially girls in the villages and provide them with opportunities to study, learn, work etc. He also shares the vision of his NGO–Mera Aasmaan: they will adopt girl child who are neglected by their parents and families. This would then work for their education and better future. They would also open a Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Beti Apnao kendriya where girls who are not given proper care and attention will be taken care of with full responsibility. 

EVA organises Alumni Sports League and Carnival

Chandigarh 24^th February:- The Alumni Association of Vivek High School; "The Ex - Vivekites Association organized the Alumni Sports league ad Carnival at Vivek High School Chandigarh on the 24th of February.

Football Matches for Boys and Basketball Matches for girls took place and all the teams participated in true sportsman spirit.

The alumni associations of Yadvindra Public school in Chandigarh, St Kabir School, Guru Nanak Public school participated in the League.

Ex-Vivekites Association and general manager of the JSJ Builders  Guneet S. Josan, said that the main motive of organizing the Carnival and Alumni sports league  to have all the alumni associations of all schools under the one umbrella and offer them a common platform for networking.

A Carnival with variety of games stalls was also organised to keep the Alumni families and children engaged.

Food stalls by leading city outlets like Gustos and uncle Jacks was also present at the venue.
Guneet S. Josan said that the amount earned in the Carnival will be donated to the Institute Sorum thereby attaching a social cause to the league.  He further added that the marketing head of Reliance Telecom (Punjab) distributed prizes to the winning teams and best players.

Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organizes Cleanliness Drive in PGI

Chandigarh 23^rd February:- Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation commemorated Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s 63^rd Birth Anniversary by organising a cleanliness campaign and a tree plantation drive in various places in Chandigarh. The cleanliness drive was conducted at PGI, cremation ground and Dhanas.

Present on the day were Dr. A.K Gupta, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Pankaj Arora Incharge Sanitation and Dr. Suchet Sachdev Incharge Blood Bank Society. Joginder Kaur Jogi Ji, Member Incharge, branches North region, informed that the Mission has been conducting cleanliness and tree plantation drives since 2009, for the service to humanity, and these services are applauded world over. Joginder Ji also said that under the guiding hand of the present Satguru, Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, the enthusiasm among devotees for selfless service, is increasing. Ladies, gents and children participated in the drive that began at 8 am, here today. Over 500 Nirankari volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive.

Dr. A.K Gupta expressed his happiness on Mission’s selfless service to the society and thanked the Mission for its contribution. He also said that nowhere is such devotion and service around the world seen, as is the foundation of the Nirankari Mission. He appreciated the devotees’ selfless dedication and hoped that similar drives and campaigns be conducted in future.  

Niranjan Singh Ji (Retd. IAS) was also present at the cleanliness drive and he mentioned various social services performed by the Mission, like education, blood donation camps and medical check-ups. Experts Want Resilient Communities and Early Warning System to Minimize Impact of Disasters

Chandigarh 23^rd February:- A 3-day training programme on the “Global Warming, Climate Change and Disaster Management- Future Perspectives” concluded on Thursday 23^rd February 2017 at School of Public Health, PGIMER, Chandigarh. The training programme was jointly organized by School of Public Health, PGIMER and Centre for Public Health, Panjab University.

The training programme was financially supported by Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment and Forests and Department of Health Research, New Delhi to provide hands on training to over 25 participants from various Central and State Pollution Control Boards and Universities. Participants represented over 15 states of India including Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Puducherry, Gujrat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

Experts from various renowned institutes such as India Meteorological Department, Delhi; Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, Delhi University, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi including IISER, Mohali, PGIMER and Panjab University, Chandigarh contributed to the various sessions such as Global Warming, Climate Change, Weather Extreme, Ozone Layer Depletion, Human Health, Biological, Nuclear & Chemical disasters including Risk Management and Early Warning System. Panel and group discussions were also conducted during the training programme to bring the latest developments and technologies, which can minimise the impact of climate change and disasters.  

Dr. Ravindra Khaiwal, Associate Professor, School of Public Health, PGIMER,  highlighted that under Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction by 2030 countries should work to reduce the disaster risk and increasing resilience to hazards. He stressed that implementation of Sendai framework will significantly reduce the numbers of people affected by disasters, mortality and economic losses.  Dr Suman Mor stressed that local communities should be educated about disaster and to make them more resilient. Further she added that aadaptation and mitigation can complement each other and together can significantly reduce the risks of disaster and climate change.

Dr. M. Mohapatra, Scientist ‘G’, India Meteorological Department, Delhi was the ‘Guest of Honor of the valedictory function, which was chaired by Dr. S.K. Tyagi, Director, Environmental Training Unit, Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi.  Dr. Mohapatra highlighted that development of early warning systems, which reduces the risks in various sectors including agriculture, coastal zone management, urban locations, marine, mountain regions  and industries etc. Hence, countries should adopt Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) strategies in their national plans to achieve the goal of sustainable development.

Dr. SK Tyagi, Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi mentioned that climate changes are being observed worldwide and main reason of this is increasing quantum of greenhouse gases, through as compared to developed countries total greenhouse contribution from India is comparatively very less.  However, India still required to take the precautionary measure to reduce the greenhouse gases and specially carbon dioxide particularly for energy sector. He further added that the impact of climate of climate change is visible more in north part of India as compared to south.

SPCA & Animal Husbandry Deptt Chandigarh Starts Human Education Program

Chandigarh 23^rd February:- Ajit Balaji Joshi, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh-cum-President, SPCA-Chandigarh is touching new heights in the field of Animal Welfare every day.  In continuation of the process of animal welfare, SPCA with the co-ordination of Animal Husbandry Department Chandigarh started Human Education Program. On 23^rd February, 2017 SPCA organized a visit of students of Oakridge International School at SPCA premises.  Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Veterinary Officer, Manimajra educated these students about animal rights and also gave them the guidance regarding protection from aggressive dogs and how to avoid dog bite.

They were also educated about objectives of SPCA and its motives and future plans.  Students were made aware about the deadly zoonotic diseases like rabies.

Prestigious International Research Award for PGI Pediatric Neurologist

Chandigarh 23^rd February:- International Pediatric Association Foundation has selected Dr Jitendra Kumar Sahu, Associate Professor, Division of Pediatric Neurology at Advanced Paediatric Center, PGIMER, Chandigarh as the winner of prestigious “Ihsan Dogramaci Research Award 2016”. His research proposal titled “Establishing Phenotypic and Genotypic Screening Model for Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis Vaccine Associated Seizures/Epilepsy” was found the most suitable for this international research award. International Pediatric Association (IPA) is a global body representing the professional societies of pediatricians and this award was instituted in honour of Prof. Dr. İhsan Doğramacı, one of IPA's pioneer leaders. It provides US$20,000 to a pediatrician for a two-year project focusing on child health and/or child wellness. Dr Sahu will be invited to present the research findings at International Pediatric Association Congress 2019 in Panama City, Panama.
