CRB School Celebrates Republic Day

HDFC Bank Launches Interactive Humanoid IRA

Chandigarh 27^th January:- HDFC Bank Ltd., today announced the launch of IRA, its interactive humanoid, at the Kamala Mills branch in Mumbai. IRA, which stands for Intelligent Robotic Assistant, will help branch staff in servicing customers. With this launch, HDFC Bank becomes the first bank in the country to introduce a humanoid for customer service.

Developed using Robotics and Artificial Intelligence technologies, IRA will be positioned near the Welcome Desk, where it will greet customers and guide them to the relevant counter in the branch such as Cash Deposit, Foreign Exchange, Loans, among others in the first phase.

Upon entering the branch, IRA will greet the customer, before displaying a list of banking services he can avail at the branch. After the customer selects an option, IRA will offer to guide the customer to the respective counter, by displaying 'Take Me There' on the screen.

In the next phase, IRA’s capabilities will be enhanced further by introducing features such as Voice and Face recognition for customer identification, Voice-guided navigation, Balance enquiry, and Cheque deposit among others. 

Nitin Chugh, Country Head, Digital Banking, HDFC Bank at the launch event in Mumbai, said that we’re excited to announce the deployment of our first humanoid, IRA in the Kamala Mills branch. IRA is quite unique and will serve as a technology demonstrator in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.

शहीद फेरुमन अकाली दल ने कैप्टन अमरिंदर को समर्थन देने का किया एलान

Chandigarh 27^th January:- पंजाब प्रदेश के हित्तों से जुड़े मुद्दों को लेकर पिछले समय की सरकारों ने कोई वचन्वद्धता नही निभायी और पंजाब को बर्बादी के किनारे पर लाकर खड़ा कर दिया। और तो और अकालियों की सरकार ने मुद्दों से जुडी मांगों कों तो पूरा नही किया पर प्रदेश में समस्यायों में इज़ाफ़ा ही किया है। ये कहना है शहीद फेरुमन अकाली दल के प्रधान जसबीर सिंह महंत का।

चंडीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में आयोजित पत्रकार वार्ता में पार्टी के प्रधान जसबीर सिंह महंत ने कहा कि अकालियों की सरकार ने पंजाब और पंजाब के युवाओं को नशे की गहरी खाई में डाल दिया है।उन्होंने आगे कहा कि पंजाब के बेरोज़गारों के लिये रोज़गार का प्रबंध नही किया गया, अकालियों की सरकार के कार्यकाल के दौरान ही गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब सहित अन्य धर्मो की बेअदबी हुयी। 

जसबीर सिंह ने कहा कि पंजाब का पानी बचाने के लिए सरकार की ओर से कोई ठोस कदम नही उठाया गया , जिससे की सुप्रीम कोर्ट में फैसला पंजाब के खिलाफ आया। अकाली सरकार की पंजाब प्रदेश और जनता के हित्तों से जुड़े मुद्दों की नाकामी को देखते हुए ही उनके दल ने आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों में कांग्रेस और कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह को समर्थन देने का फैसला किया है। 

वही उन्होंने एस वाई एल मुद्दे पर शिरोमणि अकाली दल हाल ही में सुखबीर सिंह बादल द्वारा दिए गए ब्यान पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि सुखबीर ने कहा था कि एस वाई एल को लेकर विपक्षी पार्टी में से कोई भी नेता जेल नही गया। उन्होंने कहा कि क्या सुखबीर बादल बता सकते है कि वो जेल कब गये। बल्कि एस वाई एल मुद्दे को लेकर उनके शहीद दर्शन सिंह फेरुमन लड़ाई लड़ रहे थे। पंजाब का पानी बचाने के लिए पंजाबी बोली वाले क्षेत्र पंजाब में मिलाने के लिए और नोज़वनो को रोज़गार मुहैया करवाने के लिए शहीद दर्शन सिंह फेरुमन जी ने मरणव्रत रखकर मांगो को पूरा करवाने के लिए अपना बलिदान दे दिया। फिर उनके दाल के उस समय के प्रधान स्वर्गीय महंत सेवा दास सिंह जी ने मरणव्रत रखा, तो उस समय की अकाली सरकार ने मांगो को पूरा करने की बजाये मरणव्रत के दौरान ही उन्हें जेल में डाल दिया और ज़बरदस्ती उनका व्रत तुड़वाने की कोशिश की ।  सुखबीर या उनकी पार्टी का कोई भी नेता इस मुद्दे पर जेल नही गया। बल्कि राजनैतिक रोटियां सेंक रहा है। 

जसबीर सिंह महंत ने कहा कि पंजाब राज्य कि भलाई के लिए कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह में वो जज़्बा दिखाई दे रहा है। पंजाब के हित्तों की खातिर वो अपना लोकसभा से इस्तीफा भी दे चुके है। उनकी पिछली सरकार के दौरान उन्होंने शहीद फेरुमन अकाली दल की कुछ मांगो को माना था। इसलिए उनका दल कैप्टन अमरिंदर का समर्थन करता है। उनके हाथों में पंजाब प्रदेश सुरक्षित नज़र आ रहा है। 

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि  चुनाव प्रक्रिया शुरू होने से पहले ही राज्य भर में घूम घूम कर लोगों को अपने मत के उपयोग के लिए प्रेरित कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके दल के कार्यकर्ता लोगों को अपील कर रहे है कि वोट चाहे वो किसी भी पार्टी को दे पर अपने वोटिंग राईट को इस्तेमाल जरूर करे। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके द्वारा प्रदेशवासियों से ये भी अपील की जा रही है कि वोट उसी पार्टी को दे जो पंजाब की हितैषी हो और पंजाब और यहाँ के निवासियों का भला चाहती हो।

जसबीर सिंह ने आगे कहा कि उनका दल सत्ता के लिए नही बल्कि पंजाब के हित्तों के मुद्दे के लिए लड़ रहा है। उनके दल की ओर से उसी पार्टी का समर्थन किया जायेगा जो पंजाब राज्य की एक बूँद पानी को भी दूसरे राज्य को न  जाने देने का वादा करती हो।साथ ही पंजाब जो की योद्धा सूरमाओं की धरती कहा जाता है,का युवा वर्ग नशे की गिरफ़्त में है। प्रदेश की धरती से नशे को जड़ से खत्म कर देने की भी जो पार्टी भरोसा दिलाएगी। वही पार्टी राज्य हितैषी हो सकती है जो पंजाबी बोलते क्षेत्रो को अपने साथ जोड़े। हमारा दल उसी पार्टी को समर्थन देगा और उस पार्टी की जीत को सुनिश्चित करने का प्रयास करेगा।

PHD Organizes Workshop on Maximizing Employee Productivity through Effective Performance Management

The event was organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, Germany on 24 January 2017 at PHD House, Chandigarh.

Eminent speaker, Dr. Sunil Abrol, President, Institute for Consultancy and Productivity Research & Director, World Academy of Productivity Sciences (WAPS), New Delhi  mentioned  Performance Management is matching employee development with company objective so that employee can perform as per expectations. It is process of optimization that ends up when an employee fulfills predefined goals.
