Chandigarh 08^th August:- सेक्टर 27 स्थित श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर में 10 अगस्त को शिव परिवार की मूर्ति स्थापना की जाएगी। इस कार्यक्रम हेतु मंदिर में कलश यात्रा निकालने के साथ ही समारोह आरंभ हो गए हैं जो दस अगस्त तक मूर्ति स्थापना तक चलेंगे। श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर सभा के मुताबिक यह शुभ कार्य श्री श्री 1008 महामंडलेश्वर गिरिधर गिरि महाराज की अध्यक्षता में हो रहा है। दस अगस्त को प्राथ- साढ़े आठ बजे हवन होगा व प्रात: दस बजे मूर्ति स्थापना समारोह होगा। उसके बाद दोपहर एक बजे अटूट भंडारा बरताया जाएगा।

is the brainchild of Varun D S Rana, Director of Club Salsa International.

Varun D S  Rana is the Co Founder of the Studio. Varun is also Joint Secretary for All India Dancesport Federation(AIDSF), World Bhangra Council(WBC) & CDSA(Chandigarh Dancesport Association). Amardeep Sohal, is another Co Founder  of Fit Dance Studio. Construction of Grand Ram Temple Begins in Thailand's 'Ayutthaya'

Chandigarh 08^th August :- After an elaborate 'bhumi poojan' ceremony, the construction of a 'grand Ram temple' was begun today by the Ram Janmabhumi Nirman Nyas Trust in Ayutthaya in Thailand, a senior functionary of the organisation said. The temple would help spread the message of Lord Ram outside India, he said.

Ram Janmabhumi Nirman Nyas Trust president Mahant Janmejay Sharan told over the phone from Bangkok , said that after performing rituals of bhumi poojan, the construction of a grand Ram temple has been started in Ayutthaya. As there is delay in the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya with the matter pending in the Supreme Court, we, the devotees of Ram, have started construction of a temple here.

 He added that we expect the the decision of the apex court will come soon in our favour and we will start the construction of the temple in Ayodhya, Sharan said.This temple (in Ayutthaya) will pave way for the temple in our own Ayodhya.

He sad that he expect the construction in Ayodhya will start before Kumbh-2019. He said that the construction of the temple in Thailand will establish India as 'vishwa guru' (world leader) at the intellectual level and help spread the message of Lord Ram globally.

The Ram temple is being constructed on the bank of Chao Phraya river which flows through the heart of Bangkok.

It is said that in the 15th century, the capital of Thailand was a city called Ayutthaya, which is Ayodhya in the local language.

When Burmese soldiers overran this city in the 18th century, a new king rose. He called himself Rama I, established the city now known as Bangkok, wrote the epic Ramakien, which is Ramayana in the local language, made it the national epic, and got it painted as murals on the walls of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, patronised by the royal family, it is believed.

Though he was a Buddhist, the king established his royal credentials by identifying himself with Lord Ram, who was as much a hero for Buddhists of south-east Asia as he was for the Hindus of south Asia.

Chandigarh's 12 Panchayats of Villages Decides Not to Celebrate Independence Day This Year

Chandigarh 07th August:- The Sarpanch of 12 villages in Chandigarh said today in the press conference that BDPO are doing all effort to crush the Panchayati Raj, in Chandigarh. This was stated by the Members of the Chandigarh Sarpanch Association.

They said that for the first time in 50 years, the bills of works done by Panchayats (ACF ) has been sent for checking and not releasing the  payments for several months, due to which the village panchayats have become worse.

In a press conference organized at the Chandigarh Press Club, Sarpanch of 12 village said that the Panchayat is not able to do the development work and the condition of the village is getting worse. To look at all the panchayats with suspicions by the BDPO and ignore their actions and to express their objections in all the tasks. Due to which all the Panchayats of the village are facing problems. Neither the development work has been done nor is it being done.On the same issue, the Sarpanch of 12 panchayats of Chandigarh went to their office to meet BDPO, all standing outside their office for a long time. But BDPO did not invite them to meet him, after all the sarpanch tired of being waiting for long, they all went back to their village. They got nothing but despair. 

This  is a matter of humiliation for the villages and Panchayats in Chandigarh. All of them are being treated like this which is quite embarrassing. He further said that since the BDPO took charge, 12 villages of Chandigarh have been in disaster mode since then. 

All the development work of the village has stalled, no progress is being made, everyone is being interrupted in the work and it is being stopped. The panchayats have been badly damaged and neither they are allowed to do any work nor are they able to do any work by themselves, due that the condition of the village is getting crispy day by day.  Because of this Panchayati Raj is being demolished and it is being ignored, it is being insulted too, if this is the case then the existence of the Panchayati Raj will end in the coming time. 

On 24-04-18,  out of 12 panchayats of Chandigarh, two panchayats were selected for honoring 'Gaurav Samaan' by the Hon'ble Prime Minister and the selected village was honored as a sum of prize money, Rs.1000000 was given by the Prime Minister.  Even after this, the money was not given to the village panchayat (release) and it has been delayed till today. Forcibly ignoring the Panchayati Raj by BDPO, Panchayat has been completely helpless and lifeless since this type of work has been done.

Sarpanch of Panchayats of Chandigarh has decided that if the BDPO has not been sent back to their original state within next 15 days, then all of Chandigarh Panchayats will send their resignation to Chandigarh Admission.

Goa Institute of Management to Host His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama

मंदिर के पुजारी पंडित हरिकृष्ण ने बताया की प्रत्येक सोमवार को सुबह शिव पुराण कथा के साथ पूरा दिन मंदिर में पूजा पाठ का सिलसिला जारी रहता हैI श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर कमेटी के प्रधान जतिंदर भाटिया ने बताया की उनकी कमेटी की ओर से मंदिर परिसर में श्रावण  के प्रत्येक सोमवार को सुबह 6 बजे से रात 9 बजे खीरपूड़े का लंगर लगाया जा रहा है I आज लगाए गए लंगर के मौके पर कमेटी के सदस्य बीआर शाहवाल, राकेश सेठी, संदीप शर्मा, डीपी गुप्ता और डीडी शर्मा ने लंगर की सेवा में अपना हाथ बंटाया I दिन भर जारी हल्की बारिश के बावजूद मंदिर में श्रावण के सोमवार को लेकर दिन भर  माथा टेकने वाले भक्तों का तांता लगा रहा और उन्होंने खीरपुड़े के लंगर का प्रसाद ग्रहण किया I

CJI to Inaugurate 2-day Symposium on "Human Values and the Legal World”

Chandigarh 06th August:- Prasanthi Nilayam will witness one of the largest assemblages of jurists, Judges and legal luminaries at the conference on “Human Values and the Legal World” on 11th Aug and 12th Aug, organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations to generate views, ideas and suggest ways to strengthen judicial role and Human Values. The theme "Human Values and the Legal World" is an invitation to Bar, Bench and Academia from across the country to participate in the 2-day Symposium. To amplify this noble cause and enlighten the importance of human rights and values, the Chief Justice of India, Hon'ble Justice Dipak Misra is himself addressing people at the inaugural ceremony.

The panel headed by Hon'ble Justice S. J Mukhopadhaya, Chairman, NCLAT and former Judge, Supreme Court of India along with other sitting judges of various High Courts of India shall deliberate on constitutional rights and human values.  Talks on the role of judiciary in advancing human values shall be delivered by Hon'ble Justice N.V Ramana, Judge, Supreme Court of India andHon'ble Justice Amitava Roy, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India.

Chief Justice Hon’ble Justice T.B.Radhakrishnan of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana shall chair a session on Ethics & Probity in the legal profession. The panel headed by Chief Justice Radhakrishnan shall consist of sitting Judges of various High Courts of India Program also entails felicitation of  M. N. R Venkatachaliah, Former Chief Justice of India & Former Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University. He is among many luminaries both at the bar and the bench who have been associated with Sri Sathya Sai Baba, His Institutions and His message.

Sri Sathya Baba has emphasised that proper study of Mankind is Man. His principles are based on five concrete pillars i.e. Sathya, Dharma, Prema, Shanti and Ahimsa. Chandigarh 04^th August:- The Association of British Scholars (ABS), Chandigarh Chapter in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) Punjab and Chandigarh (UT) Regional Branch and the Department of Public Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh  organized a Special Lecture on Minimum Medicines, Maximum Health by Dr. R Kumar, a senior eye specialist &President, Society for Promotion of Ethical & Affordable Healthcare (SPEAK) in Department of Public Administration, Panjab University Professor B.S. Ghuman, Vice-Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala, President ABS, Chandigarh and Honorary Secretary, IIPA Punjab and Chandigarh (UT) Regional Branch presided over the lecture, welcomed the guests and introduced the speaker

In his address, SPEAK founder Dr R Kumar advocated teaching ethics at every stage of education. He appealed to universities to introduce a 4 years course after pre-medical, ’Guide to health and wellness’. A guide will look after the health of 500 persons and will not allow them to fall sick. He said that he  will not be called a doctor and will not prescribe any medicine. This will create millions of jobs, increase productivity, improve economy and reduce national expense on disease treatment. We have sent a note on this line to PMO and Chief Justice of India to treat it as a PIL.

Dr R Kumar dwelt on the crisis facing healthcare in India.  He said that the focus has to shift from the care of the sick to health care. People do not get ideal treatment in the government hospitals because of pressure and apathy while the treatment in the private ones is unaffordable and exploitative. The only option left for them is to go in for Preserve health by following healthy habits and proper life style so that they can avoid bad hospitals. We do not have to be medicine minded or test minded but we must be health minded. This is the paradigm shift that is required.

 He underlined that the medical test packages being promoted these days are a big hoax that can lead any normal person to become a patient by making him feel sick. His emphasis was that the people need to think before going to a hospital and they can dwell on the factors that are responsible for making them unwell. These can be things like Smartphone addiction, dehydration, sleep deprivation, anemia, lack of exercise, over work and over ambition that often lead to stress, sadness and fatigue besides lack of sunlight and inadequate ventilation. He specially castigated junk foods, white poison foods, obesity and its consequences.

He also cautioned about wasteful expenditure coupled with lack of dignity and torture to senior citizens in the terminal stages of their life, when they are unlikely to survive. He termed the ICU treatment as ‘Maximum medicine, minimum health, where the mortality rate is high and chances of leading a productive life are minimal, even if the patient survives.

The lecture was attended in large numbers by members of ABS, IIPA Regional Branch, faculty members of Department of Public Administration and other Departments of PU, researchers and students. Harish Sethi, Vice-President, ABS Chandigarh Chapter proposed the vote of thanks.

PGI Observe World Breast Feeding Week

Chandigarh 04^th August:- The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Department of Community Medicine, School of Public Health, doctors observed the World Breast Feeding week  at Urban Health Training Centre Sector 38, Chandigarh.

Under the guidance of Asst. Professor Dr Kathirvel. S, Urban Health Training center, Civil Dispensary Sector 38, Dr Har Ashish Jindal and Junior resident Dr Shruthi Rajan, Multipurpose health worker Ms Rupinder organized a community level awareness programme in collaboration with Senor Medical Officer, Dr Harjeet Kaur.

Senior Resident Dr Har Ashish Jindal addressed an audience of 40 individuals and highlighted the significance of world breast feeding week with a background of history in 1991 and the need of promote breast feeding.  He told that breast feeding is a complete food for the new born till the age of 6 months.

Dr Har Ashish Jindal started with birth of a child to a newly wed is an occasion of happiness and we should celebrate the life by giving the breast milk of the mother to the new borne as early as possible irrespective of the mode of delivery. He emphasized on the breast milk being a complete food for the baby. The first yellow milk i.,e colostrum is essential for the new borne as it has essential elements that enhances the immunity. The sign of proper attachment were also told to the audience. The differences in the cow milk, buffalo milk and breast milk were also highlighted but breast milk was still emphasized as the best food for the baby.

Dr. Shruthi Rajan emphasized upon that breast milk is ready to use, non-contaminated and economical food for the new borne. She also told that the breast milk builds up the immunity and reduces the chances of getting respiratory infections, allergies and skin infection. She also urged that breast feeding enhances the emotional bond between the mother and newborn. Furthermore, the continuation of breast feeding after 6 months is also essential but with addition of simple food such as pulses, rice and mashed banana.

 The audiences were   enthusiastic and asked question on the need of water during first 6 months. It was told that breast milk is a complete food and has the ability to address the issue of thirst as well. Therefore, breast feeding is the foundation of new life and should be encouraged without any stigma and hesitancy around the world.
