21st October:- Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel
Management, Catering and Nutrition, Sector-42D Ministry of Tourism, Government
of India, organised a two day Flower Arrangement & Bottle Gardening
Workshop facilitated by Nandita Chaturvedi, Resource Person from “The All India Kitchen
Garden Association, New Delhi.”
The second day of the workshop commenced at an exhilarating note as Nandita
Chaturvedi trained the students about the immaculate techniques of growing
plants inside a bottle. She indoctrinated the audience about innovative uses of
bottle gardening. “It is rightly said, you are never too old to learn and I
feel delighted to be a part of this workshop”, said one of the faculty members
from IHM Bangalore.
The event progressed with the welcoming of the Chief Guest, R.K Popli, Director
Technical Education, U.T Administration, Chandigarh followed by his distribution of certificates. He said that this
institute always takes the initiative of undertaking something innovative and
when he see these exotic flowers orchestrated magnificently, they fill his
heart with sheer happiness.
The workshop concluded with an interactive question & answer session
between the resource person and students filled with zeal and fervour. Bharti Tyagi, Principal of the
Institute thanked the resource person, the faculty members from other institutes
and the students for making the event successful.
