State Bank of India Starts Using Solar Power Energy:CGM Inaugurate 50 Killowatt Solar Power Plant at LHO

Chandigarh 21st October:- Under Solar Power Generation Mission of Govt. of India, Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle inaugurated 50 Killowatt Solar Power Plant at Bank’s Local Head Office (LHO), Sector-17, Chandigarh. 
Anil Kishora stated that the installation of this plant is a step towards Bank’s Green Energy Generation target of 20 Megawatt and it will cater to the energy requirement of LHO by generating 200 units per day.
Anil Kishora also informed that State Bank of India already has a waste water harvesting system at its premises and stated that the Target Action Plan of Solar Power Generation of 20 Megawatt green energy will be attained with the installation of solar plants at ATMs, Offices and Branches.
