Former Mayor Poonam Sharma Launch Election Manifesto

Chandigarh 16^th December;- Former Mayor Municipal Corporation & congress candidate from ward no. 4 Poonam Sharma explained her future projects and disclosed the road map for development works to be carried out during her future tenure. Explaining about the various development works during her tenure at ward no. 7, she said that she has set an example of this ward with development works and now due to reservation her ward has been changed this time.

Explaining about the future plans, Poonam Sharma said that after being elected she will work for providing total sanitation & waste disposal besides providing separate entry and exit points for the sector 23 market. Assuring for High Master lights & regular cleaning, congress candidate said that all markets lacks in toilet facilities. As such toilets will be constructed in the markets, regular upkeep & cleaning works and sewerage facilities will be ensured to facilitate the general public.

Poonam sharma said that the Parks at here are in very pity condition. As such beautification work at parks including providing fountains & lights, along with internal and main roads of wards and white washing, electrical & civil repair works will also be carried out on priority.

Former Mayor said that work for controlling stray animals, fixing modern street lights, cutting of redundant trees, operation of community centers will be carried out through Welfare societies, Market committees, and social organizations. Besides these Ward committees will be formed depending upon the presence in various development works to be carried out in the ward.
